True enough the Alacrity nerf will have almost no effect on revenant dps, while some profession like Tempest will affected a lot. Still that’s not the point.

Yes, Revenant sword auto-attack will be nerfed, but the Sword #2 will be buffed for single target.

Right now it Sword #2 spawn 1 projectile by target with a max of 3. But with the patch it will always spawn 3 projectiles even if there is only 1 target and all 3 projectiles will hit the target, tripling the damage of Sword #2 on single target. Of course, against several target, the damage won’t be increase, but for raid you mostly have single target boss.

It will always be hitting three times if you stand in the hitbox of the enemy

This is an action based MMO, enforcing mostly full glass specs is the right thing to do in PvE, ANet knows that.

I don’t understand what people don’t understand here.

The fact that you require DPS gear to kill the boss makes it HARDER not EASIER. Isn’t the complaint about zerker that it trivializes a lot of older content (dungeons) because you can kill everything extremely fast without caring much about their mechanics? Well, you can’t do that here, so why is everyone up in arms?

This is good game design for, like you said, an action MMORPG.

We managed to kill the first Boss with 3 Viper Engis, 3 Revenants, 2 Chronomancer,1 Druid and 1 Berserker.
Everyone was using Berserker gear except the Engineers, that used Viper Equipment.

R u noob? Condi engie has the highest dps in the game atm, and your eyes obviously have a problem if you think it is sped up.

The timer starts too late aswell, since the animation of Temporal Courtain was triggered before the timer started so the time is more like 2:50.

Why don’t you just let each player apply individually and then randomly make teams out of 5 players, that have one month to come up with their own tactic for one path.
In the end all the “big names” are split up on smaller groups and people don’t have to be shy anymore.

Just to be sure now, will it be okay to chill,freeze,cripple Bosses before they become active or will everyone be complaining so a new record would be denied again? I want to know this for sure before people are wasting time again.

Well, it’s not like we bug him on geometry or safespotting him… We also sacrifice much DPS to make this tactic work.

I think tactics like these are just fine in records since it is all about tactics. Also, I would agree that it is not allowed if we had bugged him in some Wall or obstacle.

Furthermore, I still don’t see any difference to the Tar in Arah p1 since Anet wouldn’t have made all the other Phases where the tar goes underground again, or atleast we don’t know but I guess they thought People are gonna fight onspot.

Lastly, you do kind of the same powerblocking the Ooze in Arah P1 making him seem “bugged”, because you are using these Games mechanics, which is again part of Record tactics.
