Dunno about all that, but it feels the same to me…Single bolts always have done more dmg than manually detonating them. Still is one of our best skills in WvW.

Flamming
Trolling
Trash talk between players
Harassment

It also helps keep people’s ego’s down, and makes it so the “SERVER” has to work as a full community to achieve success, instead of a few people.

If you want individual fame, go hop right into structured PvP matches.

Nailed it, Mishi…. Anet obviously doesn’t want WvW to devolve into an individual based match, they want to keep it at the server and guild level. Which I think they should, because WvW in GW2 is about the whole community and not just the individual. If you hunger for personal fame and recognition try s/tPvP. I personally like to anonymity factor in WvW cause it keeps the trolling to a minimum and when there is trolling it’s about a group, be it guild or server instead of an individual. After all GW2 is not DaoC or any other mmo.

Great battles all the way around this weekend, I wasn’t on as much as I’d like, but when I have been on the battles have been great. Looking forward to a few more days of this.

May want to look at the Ranger class for ranged dmg.

I don’t think the OP is crying about not having a full exotic set after 2 days of WvW, but he’s right the badges seem broken right now in WvW, here’s my post from an earlier thread.

I agree, there needs to be a change to how badges drop…Right now it is god awful, and really only rewards people for killing blows and not much else. Is there a reason badges aren’t awarded for events in pvp? I seems silly to me that we pretty much get pve (karma) rewards for pvp/wvw events. I feel that they should drop the karma and give badges instead, doesn’t have to be a lot, but anything is better than what it is now. Spent 3-4 hours last night in EB and not a single badge.

This is a known issue that hopefully Anet is looking into.

You guys got the profanity filter down pat, now lets work on WvWvW fixes and some broken class mechanics.

I judge guilds based on their guild leader first and their members second, and Archaos is about the lowest person I’ve seen so far in GW2.

Great attitude, let’s judge a whole group of people on the actions of one person, that type of thinking has always resulted in positive actions.

Hater’s wanna hate…I play on ET and even though I’m not in Ruin I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them in both pve and pvp.

If you are having trouble surviving I would go put at least 15 points into acrobatics for the increased health and dodging ability…I’m going with a D/D – SB high crit hybrid build with 30 points in crit, 10 in deadly arts, and 15 in acro and tricks. This has helped me survive longer in both pve and pvp situations.

Emoleas, great updates man…I’ve been mostly in ET’s home borderlands helping defend and haven’t really gotten into the other ones, so I appreciate these updates. Great WvWvW so far, some of the most fun I’ve had in an mmo in a very long time.

Amen to that Estus, tired of mopping up bands of cappers and ready for some epic battles this weekend. Good luck to everyone involved.

How and where do I get the human culture armor

Sounds like bots to me, one would think that if 15 players saw you they would at least try and kill you.

Use this site (www.guildwars2guru.com) to look up thief pve and pvp builds in their forums. I would link you directly to em, but for some reason that site is blocked at me work.
As for gear it more depends on your build and what you want to focus on. Seems like your trying a crit/evade build so I would look up which armor sets compliment that.

I agree with Dutchman, if you put a time cap in you’d have nothing more than 4 huge regular pvp maps and not a persistent, changing battle ground.

However Anet does need to…

1. Stop the server transfers TO full servers, but allow people to leave to go to med/low servers to help even out balance, and eventually make it a paid service, this needs to happen soon since we’re coming up on a month since release.

2. Enforce IP location restrictions on server selection to avoid an overabundance of free night capping by players playing in different time zones.

3. Setup Aussy/Asian servers, there has to be enough people for 3+ servers for WvW.

Lets get a WvW guild list going as well so people (like me) know which guilds are dedicated to WvW. Our server started off so well, but we’ve had a drop off lately…lets fix it!

Me (thief (79) and my buddy (necro (70) are looking for a good solid WvW guild (and server) that is active on a regular basis. We are both long time mmo vets dating back to EQ1, and we are looking for a chill group of players who want to smash some heads in WvW. We are currently on Darkhaven, but would be willing to transfer to a more competitive server. I wouldn’t mind doing sPVP along with some PvE, but our focus would like to be on WvW.
