They already stated this won’t be fixed in Wintersday, and that they regret it. I’ve found that with my guildies a few tries of pressing ready at the exact same time (on teamspeak) trows us together, maybe you could try this, hope it helps.
I thought the reason was so that organized teams can’t farm Wintersday gifts and crush public games, frustrating casual players from playing and enjoying it due to pro coordinated curb-stomping?
Having found/purchased a few bells to mess around with, I can hardly do anything with them before they are already despawning.
The buff icon for the bells says 14 minutes when changing octaves and 1 minute if leaving it alone.
Anyways this is frustrating and seems to be affected Unbreakable Choir Bells as well.
I’m not very good with musical instruments so it’s no surprise I am really, REALLY bad at this event, can’t even do the easy level songs.
That being said, it’s a really clever and awesome idea and still support Anet for implementing it!
Perhaps this is can be a precursor to LOTRO-style musical instrument system?
Did it on my first try. All those Mad King Clock Tower runs got me pretty good at this.
That is really cool.
Awesome, I did happen to play Mario 64 and Diddy Kong Racing, but their Christmas themed songs didn’t stick in my memory like Freezeezy peak did, though they were still great themes!
Unfortunately I never played Earthbound or FFXI Online.
I may just consider using these themes in a playlist as well for Wintersday.

People CAN fire bows that fast! Archery has been misunderstood for years http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zGnxeSbb3g
That was a pretty amazing video.
This would make too much sense to do, hence it won’t happen.
Mad King has a backstory and history behind him in GW lore, whereas Headless is just a half-arsed idea lifted from something else, unsurprising laziness by Blizzard, to toss in as mostly an afterthought for Halloween.

Try playing this while walking through Lion’s Arch.
They don’t employ in game GM’s. /thread

Wonder if during the 22nd-31st, all zones will be night and the moon will look like the picture in their article.

I’ve always hated that moon since GW1 Halloween events, it’s too darn creepy and unnerving, lol.
That poor Sylvari, I laughed out loud but also feel horrible for the poor thing… XD
While I haven’t gotten to reading, I just felt like I should leave a little comment of encouragement here, as another who has been writing a story for GW2.
I wish you great success and much readership, hope the writing goes well for you!
