update i was refering to the 3rd boss on Arah path 2. the abomination thing is easy still but GL (Gigantus something). Also we used the range stack technique and the melee reflect technique.

@fony remember this was done as pug and as guild with TS using known working techniques aside from running mob sections where it was not necessary to truely test the update.

I don’t feel as strongly but i do agree that our LFG tool should not be gw2lfg.com it should be in game already as well as if we are to work more team oriented then use a ingame voice system. a lot of shooters have done this such as Battlefield Bad Company 2 had made their system very light.

I hope to hear someone HAS completed a path so I can look at it as our tactics were off and just need to be adjusted.

I tried 13 times today doing Arah Explorer Mode path 2 and path1

so far all pugs struggled at the same points. After a much much slower grind to bosses we spent 65% Res’ing 30% kiting and 5% damaging. needless to say it costs way more gold to run the dungeon that what you would receive. Unless, this was raised as well. Hard to say as that now people rage quit Arah way more often due to waiting up to 7 minutes to be fully res’d.

I know we are supposed to work more like a team but 2nd boss on Mursaat path is now nearly impossible. The best i have seen as a pug is 35ish% before he just started one shotting everyone with his orbs. The res/kiting added to complete puts you way more at risk of boss resets.

As for path 1 the mobs alone are extremely dangerous. on your way between boss 1 and 2 you will find no other choice but to just run to boss 2 skipping the mobs entirely. We wanted to do it the intended way but they seem to have gotten at least 40% stronger.

After respecing to be more support instead of damage (full guild run this time) all exotic+including weapons. we found that path 2 was still nearly impossible. With this run we dropped less often due to the increased traits in toughness and vitality. This made little difference in completion time though. we found the second boss in phase 3 took 2 hits to drop us instead of the normal 1. If you have played this path you know he spams those like crazy so it made little difference. We were able to drop him to 25-30ish%. I am concluding that Arah needs to scale back so that pugs even have a remote chance let alone experienced players.

If you thought Arah was hard before or haven’t tried it. I recommend you just walk away and look at the other dungeons because this is just ridiculous.

I agree with this completely. It would definitely be fantastic to have a resource that we can view character/account/guild information when we are not able to see due to restrictions such as work.
