Bunker Meta 3.0
I think you want a meta like this:
Game goes on for 15min
for 30
for 60
… and at some point later
ANet members will personally kick you out of the arena
Well, even if this is a battle of cooldowns, I think it will make more fun, than just camping for like 15mins on 1 point with gamescore: 0-0
Conclusion:
What we need:
– Balance patches for each gametype ( PvE, WvW, PvP )
– More little balancepatches if things go wrong ( e.g. Bunk Mesmer | Ranger )
– Many builds per prof, and only one role per build
– Comments from Top PvP-Players on coming balance patches, to avoid worse ( e.g. Helseth: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/pvp/Helseth-on-upcoming-Mesmer-nerfs )

Note: My English is bad, please don’t judge that. And before writing hate comments, please read the full post. And If you have some ideas about the suggestions below please let me know. I don’t want the PvP to become exactly like that. I want to have a burst meta where each class can fulfill one role. The meta should require at least some skill, and it shouldn’t take 30mins->some hours to win a 1v1.
In my opinion PvP was fun till HoT destroyed the meta. And I know many people second that. Before HoT there were roles like supporter, bunker and damage-dealer, but now one player can handle all those roles at a time. This made PvP broken. In a working meta, no spec should be able to fulfill every or many of those roles. And I agree if someone says its hard to balance all three game types, but can’t ANet balance each type in another way ( My Denglish is speaking ). They prove that with confusion: Confusion deals now more damage ( and I think even lasts longer) in PvE, when it stays normal in PvP and WvW. So please balance PvP independent of PvE or WvW. And also, there should be more balance patches. If ANet brings out a new balance patch, they should also release some fixes after like each 2 weeks. If this works, there shouldn’t be OP-Specs.

Ranger:
One example is ranger ( I know ranger had been useless for like 2 years, but now it is too broken ): While a ranger itself can tank like 2v1 over a longer time, or 1v1 for infinity their pets deal hell of damage. ANet doesn’t need to nerf ranger as a bunker spec, they need to nerf the HoT pets. Remember the beastmaster ranger. Their pets dealt a lot of damage. Like the eagle dealt about 4k on critical hits. I think this damage was ok, but now, when a pet can oneshot you, this isn’t appropriate. And this isn’t solved by nerfing/buffing other ranger skills, the HoT pets have to be nerfed. Another point is, that the stone signet shouldn’t give capture point contribution ( other invuls also don’t give capture point contribution( Mesmer: Distortion[F4, Invul Well], Ele[Mistform/Vaperform, Focus Earth 5] ).
Ele:
Eles have a very good support and sustain. But I think they shouldn’t fit both roles (see above). So decrease an Eles sustain and keep their support. Also buffing scepter would be a nice change and maybe brings us the new fresh air meta.
Necro:
Necros deal good condition damage, but their Reaper’s Shroud reloads too fast. The recharge should be reduced, so that Necros can’t deal that much condition damage AND survive long.
Guard:
Guards deal good damage, with loss of sustain. But, they deal too much damage. It’s enough to run in their traps time to die. In my opinion this is really too much damage. Also, their elite trap and longbow skill 5 has a pretty strong cc, maybe also too strong.
Warrior:
Warrior needs a buff bringing reliable damage and good condition sustain. In contrast to burst, Warriors can’t sustain condition damage.
Mesmer:
Alacrity will be nerfed on 26. Also there won’t be quickness stomps/rezzes anymore. Because of that bunker Mesmer will be dead. However, shatter Mesmer will also be dead. Shatter Mesmer is already countered hard, but if now also alacrity and quickness gets nerfed shatter Mesmer will be unplayable. That’s because Mesmer has never been that OP profession. Also before HoT it was good, but only played because of the portal, moa and because of the quick burst. Now, if every profession got buffed, it is countered nearly by every spec. And if then, the buffs, which Mesmer got from HoT (alacrity and quickness), are nerfed, then Mesmer will be unplayable kittenter. Taking that into account, it wouldn’t make sense to nerf alacrity, because then the chronomancer as such is nerfed. So rather decrease the duration of alacrity you gain by each well. In that case bunker Mesmer will be out of meta, but shatter Mesmer will be playable.
Thief:
Thief has a quite strong damage ouput. The reasons it’s rarely played is, that they are so squishy. But still I think staff 5 is too strong with up to 10k crits. I think it should either get a little cooldown like revenant skills have ( rev skills are based on both, energy and weapon cooldowns ) so it can’t be spammed, or it should deal less damage. Now all thieves start crying about me, but if the bunkers are nerfed, thieves will be viable again. Thief will still counter Mesmers. Moreover, it will maybe also counter revs ( after a little damage reduce ), or at least give them a fair matchup.
Also, bounding dodger deals too much damage. Compared to warriors reckless dodge, it deals like the double amount per dodge(Warrior: 2 dodges * 2k; Thief: 3 dodges * 4k). Furthermore, thieves have 3 dodges with daredevil instead of 2 like a reckless dodge warrior.
Revenant:
Revenant is a strong profession, with also high burst potential ( using hammer or mallyx ). But revenants shouldn’t be able too keep a capture point while using skills like sword 3 ( Unrelenting Assault ). Furthermore, the shield block should get a little cooldown increase, taking into account, that else revenants have 8 seconds of dodge/block ( Unrelenting Assault, Shield 5 | Crystal Hibernation and the trait that triggers Crystal Hibernation right another time ). Also revenants have 4/5 heals: form 1 heal, form 2 heal, shield 5, shield 5 trait and if used also staff 4.

They should simply allow you to stay on the map you currently play on (including private arenas without pointprogression so that the map can’t change). that would fix their “loadingscreen problems”
And how should i report that mes now? Over website or ingame?

Well I was selling this with my friend…
we used reflects to skip most of the elites and get to the boss
the point is that there is no waypoint at the last boss
The boss was on 1% btw
and as mesmer u cant join a party, run through the complete p3 path and finish the boss off in ca 10 secs
Also as thuef it isnt possible to shadowstep to the boss in 10 seconds
i also asked another guy of the grp
he said that he couldnt guess how the mesmer got that fast to the boss
also 2 other guys i spoke with that day knew the mes, because he stole their boss too

today i was selling a dungeon with a friend….
A mesmer joined throught LFG.
For me it seemed like he teleported to the last boss in maybe 10seconds or less and killed him…. I wanna know if thats possible, if not (what my opinion is) I want to report him.
maybe a teammember can contact me if he used hacks that i can submit his name
