That was a really good battle on that tower, the one in the video. You guys did well, managed to take out all of the 2 people on the map.

Actually, leveling through world pvp can be a lot faster than pve. That’s how i am leveling my alt. Now it depends on what you are doing there. For example, capturing supply camps, towers and keeps will give way more experience in a shorter time frame.

Stacking players on the same spot to make use of the area of effect target limit is abusing game mechanics and exploiting? Using portals to move people around is also abusing game mechanics? omg this is serious abuse and here i thought mesmer portals were supposed to only be used for cosmetic purposes, to look all shiny on the ground.

I’ve actually never, ever lagged in this game while playing in an NA server while being from Europe. Well aside from the frequent connection issues and lag spikes that have been happening to everyone in SoS borderlands after last maintenance patch.
Either way, combining both populations would help population balance quite a lot in my opinion.

Not sure about that trade off since, well “persistence” is the core and goal Of wpvp.

We usually talk about in the map or team chat so everyone that just joined server or that is trying out wvw knows that we have a mumble going on.

I think we have a record today, they took it just now. After the longest time, quite the amount of siege wasted and soo many sos badges lol. quite the accomplishment for Sos, they even brought fireworks. Well played.

That was a great fight. Although it was annoying having to return and empty out my bags from all the Mag people jumping off the walls into the SoS main force, or trying to fight on the wall only to get blown up by AoE. I probably picked up about 40 badges from that one siege. You had no siege weapons up defending the outta walls at all – cunning Mag tactics?

They weren’t too bad those tactics…all that ends up happening with siege on the outer wall is that it gets destroyed anyway. They did have some manned arrow carts up there, but they were killed pretty quickly, along with the people manning them, and the ones that kept running up the stairs into the grenades etc lobbed up there. They did learn eventually not to run up there tho, was only 10 odd minutes of that.

At least they saved us some of the complications of full loot bags by logging out once they were downed! One thing they do need to learn tho, is that jumping off cliffs at low health, still rewards us XP and loot So funny to watch tho! I guess it saves on armour repairs at least

Yea was quite a good battle like it is every time. The most funny part though is watching the outnumbered naked maguumans at the very least 3 to 1, wipe out the attackers over and over again.

I think we used our “portal bomb” technique so much that SoS decided to do the same at the end to take garrison hah.

Meanwhile in Maguuma garrison: SoS has a hard time against a handful of Maguumans.

You can already run dungeons with people for other servers so dungeons specifically wouldn’t ever be a problem. For general pve events maybe but just until guesting kicks in.

ah Maguuma! The Land of goonamo and alamo keeps. The place where numbers from enemy servers get rolled over by dancing, cheering and a lot of beating that causes them to spend a LOT of money in siege. Ah, so nice.

It would be quite interesting to have an estimate on how much gold did it cost SoS to re-take Maguuma borderlands today. Heh

Well, it’s not like they wake up in the “middle” of the night. SoS has a lot of Australian players so it is fair game. They play on their time zone, everyone plays on their own timezone and that is completely fine.
But, the confidence the op has in their “skills” is hilarious since, well, it’s not pvp if you’re fighting npcs.

don’t mind the skill changes, revert the interface on skill order though.

Guardian ranged weapon = crossbow. That’d be awesome.
