I noticed that you still get “paid tournament tokens” when you salvage items obtained from the 1 round tournament =)
Indeed, or just guest there

Ingame name: Argurio.6594 / Atrehyus.5426
Main Class / Potential Classes: Experienced in Thief, Necromancer Cond/support, Ranger Bunker. —- Atrehyus: Thief/Mesmer — / Everything the team needs we can study and learn.
Region: Europe
Practice Times: Weekends for sure, Weekdays when university lets me. / Weekdays and Weekends depending on work schedules.
Experience: 11 Years of MMORPGS pvp gaming, including GW1, WoW, Swtor, Aion, Shadowbane.
Other: Hi everybody, me and my friend Atrehyus are looking for a competent team that plays to WIN, have a polite attitude and its open to discussions. We are still new to guild wars 2 [ rank 33 and 31 ] and we cannot play all day because we have a lot to do in RL but when we play we put the 110% in what we doing. We have a huge experience of pvp in many games, so we don’t need to learn spike calling, positioning or any other low-average tactic; anythign else that we might have to, no problem. We can play whatever class you guys want from us because even if we don’t know how to play it we ll learn with no excuses. We use comms all the time, we have a microfone and our english is ok ( i hope xd ).
Thanks Xeph for your patience XD
The problem with this is that pugs are generally already bad. Asking for rank 30+ could be at least a little indication of their experience like someone else already said. Indeed if they suck at tournament just kick them out next round…
I’m missing heroe’s ascent an incredible lot.
I didn’t know that many thanks [ i guess its pretty noobish to say this as rank 32 myself xD kitten forge ]
Wouldn’t the possibility to buy finishers directly from the glory vendor instead of hoping in luck when you open gold chests amazing? I Don’t know if it’s just me but i had to open 22 chests some days ago to find just 1 finisher O.o
Honestly i would love to see “normal” stealth mechanics like in other mmos, aka perma stealth until you engage a fight and a emergency vanish skill with 2 minutes cooldown
continued…
If these realms are going to be kept separate I believe there should be things like if you win this many tournaments then you are allowed to attain this type of gear. Or if you win this many tournaments in a row your team’s name is announced throughout all of the mists through every server. (Team X of Anvil Rock is on a 5 game winning streak!) Little things like that make a world of difference to some people, man. Titles that seem almost impossible to get and pvp gear that is easily attainable makes the game mundane over time.
This is so true man. I remember in the old days of GW1 when you had this…. It made a lot of people try their best to win in a group… Right now finding people that want to be competitive, no matter how much time to play they have, is almost impossible…
None even cares about free tournaments anymore, they go in and act like if they were farming hotjoins…
3 quick questions
1. Do you like having no dedicated healers?
2. Do you wish you could play a dedicated healer(because that’s your play style)?
3. Do you feel the game achieved balance by taking out dedicated healers?
Personally, my play style in every MMO I ever played (SWG, SWTOR, Warhammer) was dedicated healer/some damage.
SWTOR is free to play now, see you there soon <3
1) No. I miss both the fact that i could play it, and that we had to fight them as a team..
2) Yes absolutely.
3) Yes and No.
While I understand the desire to complete grinding content as rapidly as possible, can anyone explain the total intolerance of these players? What does it say of the state of the game if the majority of dungeon-running players are adopting mindsets like this?
This isn’t about intolerance. While i accept unexperienced people into my groups because we all learnt how to play somewhere, its also true that somethimes experienced people just want a smooth run for various reasons whic can include:
We are short on time so we want to do the dungeon run ASAP.
We just had some run with unexperienced people and just want to have some fun without explaining everyting and relax.
Is our right to make fast runs with experienced and well geared players if we want. We had to struggle to reach this point so its right that somethimes we just want to open the game, jump in a experienced group and faceroll the dungeon.
It’s also true that somethimes people should accept at least 1 unexperienced player to teach him, even if it’s also true that "unexperienced players don’t really bother about reading a guide / watch a video of the dungeon before searching a group for it

Well done man! Congratulations.
Hi guys, and thanks for reading.
Basically i just dinged 80 2 days ago and im very confused about endgame gear and trait builds. My main goal in this game is having fun ( fun means being good while doing something not being a idiot ) with friends doing a lot of dungeons and play as a dps.
Now many keep keep telling me: go get full rampager gear and do condition damage! While others say: no way power is much better conditions suck!
Then they also tell to buy this set, and they talk to me about some vendors in orr selling other gear with karma. So i went there aswell and i didnt find anything.
You could say: well think of your own and choose either conditions or power build. My answer is that i don’t really play so much so i cannot afford to “try” different sets that much.
Could you please explain me better and give me some more detailed answers please, i know it might be boring for you but its very important for me to know
Thanks for your time!
