I would like for the HoT expansion area to NOT be jump puzzle dependant. I have never been a good jumper and it became a major issue when the new play areas opened and couldn’t go very far into them because of the dependance on jumping. As a result I very rarely play GW2 anymore. It used to be my favorite game before the mo0ney hungry and jumper elites took over

New Agers defending Anet with their weak platitudes against the Victims supporting the game through purchases at the gem store based on the inference of a better chance for something like a a weapon skin need to pull there heads out of their collective dark place. The inference is clearly made that the drop rate is more reasonable for getting a ticket in the Rich Coffers. Players should not have to research odds on getting a ticket. They should have a a very good chance if they support the game. The chance getting a ticket should be significantly lower for those prideful of leeching off the community. What is the “skin” off Anet’s back if a player has a really good drop rate for the purchased coffers over farmed coffers? A common practice is to give out a ticket for X number of chances bought. Why not? Market research shows rewarding loyalty is more profitable than scamming people. One can only surmise that the Anet business model is changing as sales of the game fall off. By frustrating people, they stop playing, this reduces server load, allowing consolidation and a migration to a high turnover based model. The only answer on the Victim’s is to stop buying the Rich Coffers and other boxes of chance or keys until Anet ceases their highly questionable less than honorable business practices within the game. I reiterate my question: What’s the “skin” off Anet’s back for supporting those players that support them?

“If you people wanna keep spending ya real cash on gambling then complain when it screws you over.. sorry but blame lies on you not ANET or NCSoft.”

Here is a new flash little new-age pal, thievery is a crime, the thief goes to jail not the victim. That is because it is morally wrong to steal. I have watched this obtuse vilification of victims in the USA for some time now. You people that go this argument that the victim is the one to blame all need to pull your heads out of a tight dark place and understand that the thief is not the purchaser. The thief is the company that makes ambiguous comments bordering on falsehood in order to dupe people of all ages into wasting their money.

I am afraid that I have to agree with the majority here. I have learned my lesson and will not be purchasing or farming any more chests, boxes, coffers etc. Even the few of you that did get a ticket with a purchase of a few rich coffers need to look at the bulk of the comments then multiply that number some ten fold for all the people that say nothing and just turn off the game. All they have to do is offer a ticket with the purchase of some set number of boxes. They might even sell more chests.

Once again I was foolish enough to believe Anet and bought 100 Rich Coffers for the Anet preferred drop rate on Dragon’s Jade Weapon Tickets. Yes, I was happy to get 2 Knight minipets thank you but i really would have preferred a ticker or two for the account bound rare weapon skin – No tickets – Not one. Shame on me…

Maybe its time that Anet do a little more for the people that support the game after purchase and have some type of cutoff. For example if you buy 50 Rich Coffers you get a ticket regardless. Thanks for souring the Dragon Bash with false advertising and impossible attainments (Dragon Wings = 10,000 pieces Zhaitantaffy) and empty coffers.

Wasn’t insult enough to the people who worked so hard to get a Rainbow Phoenix in GW1 to morph it into a stupid blue jellyfish? Now you’ve given it a new model with a grossly misshapen head doesn’t even have smooth lines. I can’t believe that you done this to the most highly prized pet there was. I am sure your all standing around the monitor laughing your heads off at the joke you’ve played on all the devoted rangers of GW1 who did so much grind to get the Rainbow Phoenix. i don’t understand why you’ve made it so ugly and so worthless. Would it have been so difficult to leave it just like it was and bring it over? That’s my suggestion stop this hideous joke and simply give us our old Rainbow Phoenix. What is the harm in that?

This couldn’t possibly be about about a little internal market analysis showing low sales and use rates “Revive Orbs” which are the 3rd highest priced item in the Black Lion Trading company services listing. With as many dungeon runs as people need to make in order to trade for dungeon weapons or armor pieces I would imagine that this would certainly be one way to increase sales. In a dungeon like TA where a player can die before getting to the group because of low resistance to poison a “Revive Orb” is almost a necessity already, now it will be a mandatory part of any PG equipment check . Sorry to be negative, I have been subjected to Anet nerf actions for too many years not to first follow the money trail. (Apologies for being out forum fashion: I make it a point to stay a far away from forums as possible. But I needed to say something even though in 15 minutes it will never see day light again.)
