This arena has great potential from gvg to 1v1 and i have to say i really like it, they just really do need a trait and repair merchant to make it complete.

Yes! I very much hope Arena Net adds a trait and repair merchant. It would be really convenient for those who like to GvG.

well to be completely honest your not getting replies from the devs because that would encourage your rash behavior.

1. the gvg community needs to go anyhow the sooner the better

2. it wont have much effect at all if the guild was worth anything to begin with

3. no the buff has not been around long enough to demonize it yet. sorry you and your pals gunna have to wait till there is actual data

4. wvw was never about balance its about tactics on a large scale and structure capturing your open field fights and gvg where a kittened squirrel frog offspring of it

in conclusion i think its about time this pretend wvw community that’s complaining about this just stops. your like 1/100th of the wvw community and just because you 30 or so people spam forums with the same posts over and over doesn’t mean you have tons of folks backing you. even if you did this is what we all signed up for it was fairly obvious from beta that it was a siege using fort capping kinda game play and if you don’t like it sorry but to bad

Yeah I know don’t you just hate that GvG community that only makes up all of the guilds dedicated to WvW and have an effect on the score. If only they would find a different game to GvG in. A game focused on guild battles. Some game with a title that sort of describes GvGs. But besides that, I mostly agree with you on 3 and 4. The reason I dislike your post is because you don’t believe in improving something that already exists. Ex: GvGing in WvW. Ex: Updates to content to make it better (the buff). Why would you ruin something in the game that people find fun when you don’t need to? The key word was game, something meant to be fun. I can somewhat understand why you think what you do though if you come from one of the lower tier servers where GvGs aren’t as frequent and guild groups don’t participate in WvW activities, but your sour attitude towards it isn’t needed (which is a bit hypocritical coming from me).

I don’t mind the bloodlust orbs. They’re sort of an interesting addition to WvW. I’ve heard people say that they’re just going to make servers who crush smaller servers, crush them more. This is the case I guess if those smaller servers don’t utilize the orbs for their advantage. They’re going to get crushed either way, but now before trying to take an objective, they can get the orbs real quick for an advantage over the larger servers. The bloodlust buff doesn’t require too many people to obtain unlike how the first method of obtaining the buff was. If one person tried to capture the orb by themselves, they were more than likely to get ganked by everyone on the map. I don’t see why it had to unnecessarily screw up GvGs however. Someone suggested before to add a way to individually disable the buff which seems simple and would have kept GvG matches fair. No one wants to host a max of 10v10 GvG matches in an sPvP arena.

I think this would be a good idea. Obviously you can avoid making this mistake by reading the item descriptions, but the possibility of making that mistake shows that there’s a mistake in the programming and whatnot. It would be ridiculously stupid to lose weeks of work because you decided to try to buy an item first and then transfer it over to your character instead of transferring the money over to your character first and then buying it on that character.

If dungeon tokens were soulbound on acquire instead of account bound on acquire (Which I’m glad they aren’t) then I would disagree with you, but since this isn’t the case, I think you’re 100% right that the items purchased with these dungeon tokens should also be account bound and THEN soulbound after used.

I think it would be cool if people could rearrange where the skills for their weapons are placed. Like if I wanted my #2 skill for the greatsword to be in the #4 slot instead, you could drag it over there opposed to all of the skills being locked into place. Kind of like how you can pick which skills go where in your utility.

You could implement this by making an edit button in the weapon skills panel where players can rearrange their skills however they please without accidentally moving their skills around while in battle.

Thank you all so much for adding a trumpet to the game.

I’ve been asking for a trumpet every since beta and it’s the best thing ever. It doesn’t go back into your inventory every 2 minutes like the choir bell and you can hold notes. It’s really epic thanks a ton.
