I was also wondering, if I leave GW2 open on the world selections screen and check on it every 5 minutes, will it update automatically, or do I need to keep reloading the game in order to make it update? Thank you!

Dear fellow GW2 players,

I recently bought GW2 after many, many recommendations from close friends. However, once I bought the game I was confronted by the question “Which world would you like to join?”. I knew my friends were on Tarnished Coast, but unfortunately that world was full. My question is, will that world stay full forever? or does that just mean that there are currently many players online. If it will stop being full, what do you think the least active time is for the world “Tarnished Coast?” If you could include your timezone in your answer, that would be useful. Thank you all so much!
