Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone,

I’m a completely new GW2 player currently trying to make a decision on which home world I should play. Thinking either about Seafarer’s Rest, Desolation or Gandara. I’m mostly interested in PvP aspects of the game including WvW (solo, roaming but I’d also like to experience some large scale battles).

Which server would you recommend? How’re communities on the above mentioned servers and which server would be the best for a new player who’s just getting into the game?

Can one still change the home world for free if you delete all the characters?

Hi everyone,

I’m a completely new to GW2 and currently I have to make a decision which home world I should select among the European servers. I come from WoW’s RP-PvP server (Defias Brotherhood) and PvP is definitely the aspect of the game I enjoy most but I also like servers with nice and friendly community where I can find people to play with. I’m thinking mostly of playing some structured PvP as well as WvW.

I’m currently considering three severs:
- Desolation
- Gandara
- Seafarer’s Rest
- Piken Square (since it’s a RP server)

Please help me out – which one would you recommend? How is Piken Square and Gandara nowadays community-wise?

Also can I still change home world for free if I delete all my existing characters?
