Main Mechanics (some things may be incorrect or missed)
The Twisted Castle is similar to a maze but is easy to traverse once you know the method.
Grouping – It is advised you run two groups as you may not have enough time as a single group
Utilities – Bring Stability and Stun breaks as most mobs inside the Twisted Castle do knockback or fear.
Switches – There are a series of Buttons that must be stood upon to open gateways on either side of the Twisted Castle to progress. Simply run over and it will be activated.
Haunting Statues – These act like Weeping Angels. As long as a member of your squad remains looking at them, they will not move. Do not touch the AOE surrounding them as this will teleport you back to the beginning. Their attacks will also perform knockback or knockdown.
Madness – An Icon will appear above your head the more madness you have. Order of severity is Grey-Yellow-Red. If you reach 100 stacks of madness your character will die. No down state, just dead. As far as I know madness ticks constantly while inside but seems to tick faster while looking at the Obelisk in the center.
Fountains – If you have the new mastery for raids you are able to choose two options at a fountain. Cleanse 10 stacks of madness or become immune to madness for 30 seconds.
Chests – There are 3 chests. I’ve Marked them in the images below. They can be collected after completing the maze but only in the instance it was completed in.
We’ve got open world content, dungeons, fractals, etc. Why not for raid? Many of times I’ve had to swim through Raid LFG posts in the menu when I’m looking for Tequatl Taxi for an example. I really think having a section for raids would be very beneficial both for people looking for raid members and players looking for other events.
