Guild Wars 2

Hello all, lets start with a general summary of the guild before we go into detail.

What do we do:
Pandion Knights attempts to cover every aspect of the game, whether it be running around Blazeridge Steppes killing branded, or doing hardcore pvp.
We do attempt to keep a schedule throughout the week where we go through the content, such as guild missions are on a set time every sunday, but we can do them during the week incase some people missed out.

But, to list out, what we do:
Weekly guild missions
Weekly PvP (for people new to pvp aswell as veterans)
Dungeons and fractals (almost on a daily basis)
Map completion (helping eachother out and making the experience more fun)
Selfmade events such as “hide and seek”
We also plan on completing all the new content introduced in the future!

Activity
Generaly we are mostly active in the evenings during the week, and in the weekend it is a lot more spread out. We do have our set events, such as Guild missions and sPvP which start in the evening between 18:00 – 20:00 (GMT +0). Some other events like dungeon runs and map completion is more dependant on when people have time available for those events.

All in all we are a semi casual guild with the understanding that everyone has a life outside of the game, so we arent going to force or require attendance to everything. We also understand that people might have guilds on the side with friends so we dont require you to represent all the time.

Other
We are not only a Guildwars 2 guild, we are a multi-game community, this means we have events in many other games, as well as a bi-weekly community event where we play anything from free multiplayer browser games to triple A shooters.

Elementalist
I main Engineer/warrior, but i do have 100+ hours on elementalist, and one of the things that are very present about the elementalist is awareness, if you know when your cooldowns are ready, even in other atunements and are able to utilize that, an elementalist is really strong. This goes for 90% of all Spvp, you have to be aware of your situation, and elementalist, if used right, can dish out alot of CC, Damage and support.

Guardian
I don´t play guardian, except once in a beta for 20 minutes, i dont enjoy that profession but i’ll give it an assesment from a 3rd person perspective of the proffesion. Guardians have the lowest health pool, shared with elementalist, they have alot of “invulnurablility” or “consta-block” as i like to call it. They can dish out alot of damage and survive, but it takes just one fail, and you will die against any experienced player.

Elementalist vs. Guardian
D/D Elementalists bring alot of everything to the table, that is one of the biggest reason this is so prominent at the moment, you get CC, Heal, Damage, Conditions, Condition clearing, protection, auras, and so on. Guardians have many similar things but not quite to the extent that elementalists have. Also if you “catch” an ele they have a ton of stunbreak/mobility in one, so they can get away and recover. Guardians do have stunbreak and loads of healing, but are very immobile, so if you catch one, he or she really isn’t going anywhere. So i would put my money on D/D Elementalists.

As for skill and High end Tpvp
D/D Elementalists are definitly worth more in “high end” Tpvp compared to guardian. now i havn’t played guardian, but i know Elementalists have a high skill ceiling and if you can reach that ceiling, you are virtually unkillable
