Just noticed that my Norn Engi has an issue with her left eye. This only seems to happen when she has her weapon drawn and only when she turns to her right. She keeps winking at me!

While it hasn’t happened to me yet, I’m one of those people who click through boxes and then a few seconds later think “what did I just agree to?!” (So far I haven’t lost any organs or appendages, thankfully.)

Tarnished Coast is great. I moved there from HoD last year and haven’t regretted it. Sure, there are the trolls in map chat (like every server, we have a few regulars) but overall we’re a friendly bunch. While TC is tagged as the unoffical RP server, there are still plenty of non-RP players too so, which ever play style suits you can be had

Moving the buttons would indeed suffice. I only suggested the data entry as it was the first thing that came to mind and I was in the middle of making dinner!

I’m sure there are many great ideas on how to oops proof the game without resorting to dumb and dumber techniques. Thanks for taking the time to read this and offer suggestions

Normally, I would agree with you, Kumu. However, in this instance, it’s a substantial $20 purchase (and again to return) it’s not like it’s pocket change, and the game has set a precedent with text entry confirmation.

I don’t disagree that it was user error, which is why I’m not stomping around demanding compensation! I’m not whining or complaining, merely making a constructive suggestion based on my experience.

In all honesty I expect this thread to be buried in a pile of kittens by morning, but there’s always hope!

A suggestion for the UI following an accidental server transfer…

My husband recently (this evening) transferred by accident from TC to FC. He was in the middle of an event and, having just dc’d, went to guest again but instead transferred. So now he’s on the wrong server and down 1800 gems (that was a christmas gift!)

Out of curiosity, I had a look for myself to see what the difference was in the confirmation windows between transfer and guest services, and they are not very different. Perhaps some form of typed answer as a confirmation would help prevent these sort of issues (In line with character deletion, item deletion in game)?

In an ideal world nobody rushes through these things but when you’re in the middle of an event and are in the habit of guesting, I can see how it would be easy to do.

I had a horde of princess dolls, plush griffons and toy ventari (from gifts) try to beat the stuffing out of me in Frostgorge today. There’s plenty of them!

Yay! Thanks for the ui additions added today. The option to show rarity is great (though now I have the dilemna of sorting by type or colour) and the magic find notification is pretty spiffy too

So I was wondering around in Fields of Ruin and encountered multiple copies of Legionnaire Kelish Boneflayer. I’m either Snow White, or he’s an uber mesmer.

I’ve been trying to sell some normal blue/green stuff on the BLTC and, since the new build, it has given me a grey section in the trading window (instead of the pricing information.) It will eventually bring the window up but it takes a very long time. A guildmate has confirmed that he is having the same issue as well. We have both restarted the game since the update this evening.

Drat! I was hoping it was intentional, I was enjoying the lack of extra clutter!

Gerik, if you look on the first page you will see a couple of posts by Anet staff saying that the survivor achievement has been changed for this month. Here’s one of them!

The player I asked about it said he was moving them because there were too many players in the bank building. I guess that’s reasonable if you have lag issues, it’s just confusing to my poor caffeine deprived brain when it’s on auto pilot!

I got the major set for the Yarr! (and, of course, the stats) on my Sylvari Ele. I have yet to hear it, and I’ve been listening very, very hard lol.

I wasn’t aware I was getting a parrot thrown into the deal too. That’s almost more excitement than my leafy brain can handle!

Here’s my little warrior, Athdara. I love the way she flails her greatsword around, she’s just a little bit stab-happy!

Make sure the equipment that you are trying to transmute is in your bags, not equipped. This method of transmutation was implemented in a recent patch.

Another point worth mentioning, in case you weren’t aware, is that basic stones only work on equipment levels 1-79. Level 80 gear requires Fine stones which you can find in the Gem Store.

Not sure if it is intended to let NPCs get moved around by players, but I had trouble finding the guild bank in Lion’s Arch today, on Eredon Terrace. After a major duh moment, I checked the map and saw that the guild banker was outside!

Turns out that a player (a guardian or a warrior I think) was using a knockback skill to move the banker out of the building, deliberately. I ended up sending in a /bug but I don’t even know if this is considered a bug, or a player behaviour to be reported.

Try hitting the Chantry of Secrets. It’s worked for a few people, including my husband.
