I don’t see fractals spliting up the community any more than leveling zones do already. A level 5 levels in level 5 zones, and should stay away from level 10, and up zones. A level 30 can level in level 30 zones, and is free to revisit lower level zones. Fractals work the same way.

It would also make it easier for botters.

Shouldn’t knowing that you are helping the game improve be reward enough?

To Wolfgang Michael. It wasn’t a quote at all. It was an example. Would it lend more credibility if I used “100 dogs, and 100 cats” or “175 copper ore, and 25 orichalcum ore”? I don’t see how this isn’t helpful. I’m saying this will not change for good reasons.
A change like this would be too big. The people who already got this achievement would need to be compensated for the extra effort they put in. You could make two extra achievements; one for PvE, and one for WvW but then people will still want the big gold star on their character selection screen still complaining about WvW.
And to all who say it’s a PvE achievement it obviously isn’t if you have to do more than PvE.

You do not reward people for having 100 apples, and 100 oranges to people who only have 100 apples. If you want to be rewarded for something do what is required to be rewarded for it. If you don´t want to do what is required you do not deserve to be rewarded.
Also the 100% map completion is required for components needed for legendary weapons. If you are too scared/cowardly/selfish/lazy to participate in WvW then you are not deserving of a legendary weapon.

So you are really lazy, and play a game that requires you to not be so lazy.

If CoF could be done with 3 warriors, and two thieves this game does not need dedicated healers. Just skills, and know-how. Just how it should be.

This could be exploitable. Especially for people with enough gold/cash to throw at race changes.

First you could reset your story enough times to get Priory, Vigil, and whisper armor. Not that it would be useful, but it is something that should not be done.

Also the ability to change your racial skills could be broken. Don’t ask me how. If you asked me how would it be possible to farm ectos with a monk that has 55 health 6-7 years ago I couldn’t answer. But people find a way to break things.

I suggest some kind of service to change names of characters, or guilds and appearances of characters. Most of the players during the three day head start didn’t put too much thought into the making of their characters/guilds, and rushed it. Me included. This could be sold in the Gem store.

And when you buy enough trait points to max out everything you’ll be asking to trade your unused trait points in for karma?
