At lease I have got reply. But how can I proof that I am innocent? (Well, I asked him back already and waiting for reply.) I don’t know how I get involve with that kind of thing. I know every game common rule and I always play along that rule. Why I must risk to lost my account for something like that? You know what, $79.99 is 1/4 of my salary! I am not fool enough to throw away my money just for that.

Can’t you check from play log? I can tell you every action of mine in this game.

9/21/2012 – Got hacked for first time. My crafting material are lost along with 1G.

9/22/2012 – Got my account back. Pump up my gold to 2-3G and pay back my dept to my friend. I sold my crafting material to BLG and throw everything else to NPC vendor.

9/26/2012 – Got hacked for 2 times. Low level crafting material lost along with my 1-2G again. My friend got contact with hacker and got my account back.

I have got hacked for 2 times, is that a reason why I got banned?

You can’t upgrade sigil/rune, if you do that it will soulbound.

Why don’t you just validate from MAC address?

Me too got that problem. And got hacked after that. hahahha

First, I did not come here to complain but I have to inform you about my situation.

I was hacked for 2nd time. This time I am quite sure that it was my own fault. I am just found that my PC contain some keylogger. But, what should be my last defense should be that e-mail authentication, right? And it fail to do so.

The first time I login, yes, the system send me an e-mail authentication (I could say that I am quite happy to see that). But not so long, there is someone login to my account. Here is the problem. The system did not send e-mail authentication to my e-mail.

Lucky me, my friend was there and get my password back from that hacker. He said that he just want my gold, my ID has no meaning to him.

What is more interesting is he said that he buy my ID and password from some seller.

Well, I am still happy to play this game. Just losing 1 gold and 30 silver won’t kill me anyway.

PS. After some fight to maintain my password with that hacker, I uninstall my old anti-virus and install a new one. Also install the Spybots S&D. Found many keylogger (I always make sure every of my action on the internet but my parent use my PC too.) So…signnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn I have to bear with it right?

If you don’t know who send it, just sent it back.

I would like to suggest something about account security if you don’t mind.

1. Use a “One Time Password” on every account in every action (change password, change name, login to webpage, login to game, etc.) you can send these password to mobile phone or e-mail.

2. Notify every action in player’s e-mail.

3. Use player’s secret 4-8 digit code that they have to enter before login to game. Use on-screen keypad with random number button so hacker will have a hard time figure it out.

This is not some random idea, many online-bank service use this method too.

Anyway, if you love this game, just speak up your mind. What we came up here might be the best security method in the future.
