I have noticed that in the past few weeks.. in WvW i seem to be getting random spurts of choppy FPS lag. It doesnt seem to have anything to do with the horrible ping we have been having from the DDoS attacks, but just happens randomly when running across the map etc.

The game seems to stutter for a few seconds.. If i stop and wait for it to clear.. its fine but if keep running it just gets worse.

Some people have said that this is because of the new legendary armor (opening and closing when people go in and out of combat which i personally dont have) and some have said its just frame lag from loading a zerg in the distance.

The thing is.. im running a brand new i7 with a geforce gx 1600 and shouldnt be having frame lag issues like this.. the game is even installed on a 2 TB SSD drive.

Any thoughts..

yes my drivers are up to date
yes everything is installed correctly
yes i have latest .net framework and direct x

etc

I have the same issues, but then I checked my memory usage and it’s using 6.8GB out of 8GB (85%) and I have nothing else running besides GW2

I keep getting dc’ed in Bloodstone Fen and end up in LA with all i’ve harvested, gone. It has been doing this since the latest patch.
I hear from a lot of guildies that when they open mail or guild tab they get dc’ed.

I can tell you it is not fixed, I get ported back to the last place i were and i can read from the chat that alot of other ppl are getting ported too

Never giving any thought on complete these achievement, but have recently started doing them…
Beating Adnul Irongut I have just as much chance at winning the lottery, 2/3 he calls your bluff and 2/3 he Belch your heal, this is pathetic that he calls your moves 2/3 times, might as well take a 4-sided dice and toss it to see which key i should press

ANet you have stripped this achievement of ever being fun, to players getting extremely frustrated…

I think the first meant another wooden platform. They wouldn’t have listed it, if you passed it on the way to the Chest. /shrug

That did the Work, aparently the video missed the last part of the jump, so that’s why I didn’t get the achievement… thx Again mate

‘The achievement is obtained by walking toward the wooden platform across from the chest, not at the chest itself.’

This may be the issue.

You can’t reach the chest any other way than to climb the the wooden platform, and just tried it Again, still no achievement

Have you done this JP with a different character? If yes, then this is probably the issue because achievements count account-wide.

I have just done Pig Iron Quarry (see attachment) but did not get the achievement for it, thought I might had missed something, so I checked an uploaded video of someone doing the jumping puzzle and i’m not doing anything wrong. Is it bugged or something?

Sadly I had chosen the two drop menus

I have tried to file a Submit a request, I have filled all of the boxes marked with a *, but when I try to submit at the bottom of the page nothing happens, I have tried closing the page Down and submit Again, I have also tried waiting a couple of days and then tried Again… nothing seems to help

I deleted a character, but I missed checking all items on it before deletion. So immidiatly after deletion I discorvered my mistake, my Gem bought Frost Wasp Logging Axe and Watchwork Mining Tool was still on the character.
My request to you is, are there any chance you could restore the two Gem items to me.

I have encountered this problem before, it took ANet most of the day to fix it. So just to say it’s not your PC, firewall or internet connection that’s the problem

Well it was a short term fix… back to DC again

I did a -verify aswell, don’t know if that was part of the fix

Locate your gw.exe file and do a repair
R click on the shortcut icon, click on properties, click on shortcut (mine’s in Danish, so i don’t know if it’s the right Word for it) and copy the text from the destination to your search in the startup menu, hit Space and add -repair…. then ENTER

I have fixed my DC problem by doing a -repair and a -verify

It’s crazy, atm GW2 is more unstable than SWToR… That is an accomplishment in itself

I repeatedly gets dc’ed when I try to click around on the gw2 site.
It started last night with the “cannot log on to client server”

I have the same problem, not just with logging on to the game, but also logging unto my account on gw2.com… it just kills my connection
