And what is up with the door being locked? How do you clear it? Been killing stuff near the door for awhile and I see no progress towards that.

Yup, already using it. Not much better than spamming for group but at least it is across servers. Still no luck though.

Trying to find a basic story mode dungeon run for over an hour and not getting to play while doing so. Please just add a dungeon queue tool and be done with it please.

And still waiting… guess no one does CoF story anymore

So…. you want contested areas that contains PVE content that players need to fight over and retain control of…

Great idea. ANET should definately do something like that… maybe even have it so different worlds could get in that action… call it something like Planet vs Planet….

Combat Mode macro.

Uses Autohotkey. Turns on mouse look, sets MB1 to first attack and MB2 to dodge. Toggles and puts crosshair in middle of screen.

That’s interesting…

A lot of people are bringing up the aesthetic as being just like WoW ~ which I agree on..

but you guys say it is such a negative tone that it makes me think that you’re not looking at Wildstar as a game.. but as an extension of WoW… thus “it must be destroyed”.

Personally, I’ve never played WoW and try to avoid debates with people that have (as they’re either totally in love with the game or completely hate it) ~ thus that’s all they focus on.

So really, the aesthetic you guys don’t seem to like.. is actually one of the reasons I’m looking forward to it.

As for the combat.. ya, it does seem to root you when casting ~ but in those same vids, I notice that it just adds to the complexity of the fights.. as you can’t simply “strafe” your target and spam spells.

lol, so ya.. another improved feature I’m in favor of Vs. GW2 / WAR.

I’m curious if you guys are looking at this subjectively or if you’re just hating on the game.. just BECAUSE it’s not GW2.

Which would make you a “knight”… and tbh, I REALLY don’t like knights ~ as they’re toxic to their games and only cause division of the community by building bias walls against anyone with an opinion.

Wow… assume much? I absolutely hate the cartoony oversized hands head and feet that WoW uses and this game uses the same. I cant relate to the character since it looks goofy. Being rooted in place to “cast” abilities is a step backwards in my opinion… it removes the best part of action combat… the action.

I looked over the game as well to see if the melee fighting was any better… and it wasnt. It is also extremely silly to expect players on a game site to gush over a different game that isnt even released yet and say it is better than the one they are currently playing…

If I was one of those RPing in the tavern and someone ean in and was asking for help in character I would have my armour on and my best battle quotes ready to go. Those other people were not really RPers… they were just using the game as a chat room with pretty pictures.

If I was running the show there I would track where the gold is coming from and just randomly take it out of their banks and spread it all over to the people that got spammed… but Anet is not that evil..

I play a guardian on Tarnished Coast as an alt and have been playing him as a wannabe Seraph. So whenever I am in a DE with other people I will yell out things i say like “For the Queen!” And when the event is over and we succeed I will say things like “Well done heroes! The Queen thanks you for your loyal service!”

I had one person send me a private tell laughing because he tried to use me to spend Karma thinking I was the event NPC…..

Of course.. they would need to add the ability to lock the camera to always stay behind the character with no delay.

Yeah… pretty much that. I do that now anyways but am stuck holding down my right mouse button to do it…. for hours on end. My fingers demand justice! Lol

Playing as a dagger thief is hard enough sometimes but when my finger slips it really throw off my game

Played almost every major MMO released in the past 15 years but just came from The Secret World. Sadly I paid for a lifetime subscription there and should have known better. My suggestion is to avoid that game like the plague or at least until it goes free to play as it is NOT worth paying a monthly sub for. I am very happy with GW2 and already paid them extra for 3 char slots so I can have one of each class to play with anytime I want

This is the first MMO I have played where you actually have to pay attention to the world around you. There is plenty of story and explanations if people just stop and listen/read instead of just zerging around to the next map marker.

My first “Wow, that was cool.” moment was in Kessex Hills when I witnessed a kidnapping by bandits. I have never felt so heroic chasing them over the hill cutting down the minions to try and stop them before they reached their hideout.

Kudos to Anet for making me happy in my MMO gaming again.

Would be pretty awesome if they actually fixed that account…. That’s my buddy there I been waiting to play with
