What was a huge spoiler? I thought it was all fairly vague. I mean of course Tixx is going to give out gifts, for example, there was no mention of what the gifts were. I’m slightly confused about this complaint.

I personally don’t like the holiday items in BLC thing, but I’d like to know either way.

I remember reading once that they were planning to eventually allow this, but I’ve not heard anything else about it. I’d like to change mine to reflect my main character’s name. I don’t see any reason why they cannot allow at least a one time change for everyone at some point.

I enjoy support with my water elementalist. But no there isn’t a dedicated healer, and it definitely doesn’t feel like a true “healer” class. I personally like not having set healer, tank, dps roles though.

The second picture looks like it’s the very farthest top right body type (make sure you scroll over for more options). That’s the one my Sylvari has, and it looks nice in light armor in my opinion (and I’m sure other armor too, but mine is a light armor class). I wanted a curvier figure rather than super lean, and if that’s the look you’re going for too, I think you’d be happy with that one.

I made an elementalist after getting bored of shortbow 1 spam with my ranger. So warriors can do more damage with 1 or 2 buttons, but that gets unbelievably boring after awhile. That’s not how I want to play the game. For that reason, I will always go back to my ele. The class needs some work, but at least it isn’t a snooze fest to play.

My other character is a ranger, but I like it for the opposite reason.. it’s relaxing to play in pve when I don’t feel like stance dancing. The elementalist is more entertaining to me, but the ranger is a nice change of pace occasionally. I haven’t found any other class that has the complexity of ele, but I have not tried an engineer. That might be my next alt.

This. I rerolled to an elementalist for that exact reason. It is the only class that hasn’t become boring to me over time.

I didn’t miss it, but I’m sure many people did. Maybe they should add a quick tooltip to the character creation screen pointing out the light bulb icon and explaining the sylvari’s bio luminescence. I honestly think the default red glow looks nice though, but I know that’s no consolation to you if you don’t like it. I’m sure there will be a character makeover in the cash shop at some point.

This happens to sylvaris that I’ve made if I mess with the pupil size. If I leave it as default, it doesn’t seem to happen. It’s a strange bug.

Yes, I agree. I want to make an asura guardian, but this is holding me back. I’d love to see an actual dev comment on this.

I don’t understand the rationale behind a one time only scheduled event. Not everyone can plan their lives around a video game. I’m sure a lot of effort went into it and many people are going to miss it, unavoidably. I guess videos will have to suffice. I’m not concerned about rewards or anything, just would have liked to see it unfold in game. Oh well, such is life.

This happens often when you mess with iris size in character creator. Just leave it in default and your eyes will be okay.

Yes, this. The same bug happened with my first Sylvari. I immediately remade her without adjusting iris size and all was fine.
