Yes, or at least make the hordes of spawns from the time-wasting champion actually count for event credit.
There were hordes there, just hordes of little spiders that absorbed tons of damage and didn’t give any credit. Call it an extension of the single giant time-wasting enemy.
The problem wasn’t the event failing, as it succeeded after the timer, but the problem was that I was there, contributing for more than half of it and got no credit anyway. I would have been perfectly happy with bronze and the end chest, but fought hordes of zero-credit spiderlings with way too many hp for no credit.
I just finished cleansing the temple of melandru. I got there with 3 minutes left (half the event) and saw nothing but these the whole time I was there. There was one champion spider and the half-dozen or so players in the event could make no headway against it because of the dozens of veteran hatchlings it spawned. What’s worse, they gave no loot, no experience, and I got zero credit for an event that I was there for more than half of.
Please do something about this.
Same issue for me tonight. Finished 5/5 and 6/5 simultaneously about 20 minutes ago. Here’s the screenshot:
Ah thanks for pointing me to the right place. I don’t use the forums enough
I finished two challenges at once, Daily Kills and Daily Leveling; they were the fifth and sixth challenges I had finished (after champion, veterans, events, and gatherer) and I got no reward.
Am I the only one who has seen this issue?
I finished two daily achievements at once (number 5 and number 6 for the day) and received no reward. Is there a workaround for me to get the reward?
Title says it all. I know the sigil of purity can proc without the player actually having conditions, thus putting it on cooldown rather needlessly. I assume the sigil of generosity is the same, but someone out there has got to be able to confirm this.
In my experience the main reason for res-rushing is the enormous amount of time it takes for allies to get you back up once you’re defeated. If it were as fast as getting up a downed player, getting people back up would happen a lot more often. As is, it can be faster to just res and run back in.
Just wanted to throw that out there.
When the game released, new builds always seemed to show up around midnight pacific time. I thought this seemed like near-peak hours, and a bad time to schedule updates.
I also thought that ArenaNet had figured that out when I stopped seeing build updates. But obviously not…there’s a build update going right now. This seems like very poor timing, making everyone log out to download a new build at peak hours. Can’t this be done sometime like tomorrow morning, when fewer players are on?
