like the title says after an extented break( came here with my guild wars guild, they quit shortly after the game came out and i followed them back to GW 1) im comeing back.

ive played around with a few of the classes so far, ive got the guard up to lvl 40 but im not really digging the melee so that kills the warrior and thief as well,

ive got the ele to 25 but seem to hit this brick wall where suddenly everything is a fight for my life.

the mesmer just isnt my playstyle and i feel the necro;s ( which were my main in GW1) just aint the same now that i cant do a MM build.

so that leaves the engi and ranger.

engis i like cause its really simple to get perma swiftness( inless this was changed wile i was gone) but i intend to mostly do solo PvE for now and i like haveing a pet just cause its not so lonely, im sure all my fellow WoW hunters know what i mean. im just not sure what one to go with.

can rangers get perma swiftness like the engi without nerfing the build?
am i going to have a hard time farming anything at lvl 80?
will i be able to get into dungons if i want easily?
what one of the two is going to be better?

I’m talking as a supportive player.
Guardian got a lot of USELLESS skills and traits.

Some skills like Orb of Light, Merciful Intervention andHealing Breeze that NEED friendly target cause the 50% of time you waste it.
5° shield is bugged and doesn’t push back foes… the Staff simply sucks… no traits for boost the shield skills… all the healings are too small… 300hp hot and 2000 heal every 60 sec (it’s NOTHING compair to the amount of damage)…

How can you support in this way?

Anet hate healers and supporters and create a full DPS game…
And than they put a supportive class in it…

omg stop kittening crying, stop trying to play the game like its wow, there is no trinity so dont try to say your playing a healer if they wanted a healer they would of kept the monk.

cant be lag, if your trying to reproduce it make a new sylvari character every time the frist line from caith wont play then after you get out of the dream the guy that talks to you and that frist scout near your location have no audio as well.
