Cause the email address & password i use for this account is not used anywhere else, and have never been used to send emails. And i delete all emails out of it, so how is it possible for someone to get my login name and password????

Why?

Caudacus Manor 5 Thieves.
Swapping between Range and Melee.
A combination of Sword Pistol, Dagger Dagger, Shortbow and Pistol Pistol.

Thieves are excellent at stacking blinds, 5 thieves can time it right without voip and just visual cues, when smoke fields go down, someone creates a new one. This allows for thieves to come up close and do massive damage dagger and aoe with swords.

Arah 5 Rangers
3 shortbows and 2 longbows
3 greatswords and 2 axes 1 warhorn
5 Rangers with 5 pets effectly makes it 10.

Good pet control, excellent timing with healing spring, Condition damage stacks with Shortbows and 2 Longbows for CC and power.

We were basically able to keep mobs at a good range while we kite around them

Is the holy trinity still needed?

Seems to me, its just liked I posted in another thread…. its “ranged” favoured.

It doesn’t matter if you like Healing, or Tanking (as I do), if you have to play “Kiting-Ranged-DPS”.

Also, as for the broad comment “…its called support in this game..” …. to get rid of the so called holy-trinity (which for anyone who has been playing mmo’s longer then when swtor was released) will know… its actually 4 (tank, healer, support, dps)
but… here is the key fact…. NOT ALL CLASSESS HAVE THE SAME ROLE BASED SKILLS…

Take for example “Warrior” – cant tank (cause tanking doesn’t exist anymore in this game), cant HEAL (except myself very crappy like), cant put down any combo-fields (but do have finishers), and while I can range…. – why would I roll a warrior if I wanting to act like a ranger??

Sorry… 5x warriors will have hell in the dungeons….
or at least the world longest and most boring kite-fest.

but don’t let the above fool you, still enjoying the game, at least the open world and wvw stuff ; and just dinged 75, wearing full set of 70 exotics with superior sigils etc.. and having a blast out there with the dynamic events…

but dungeons… went in one… wont be going back..
so once I hit 80, not sure what I will do…. :S

Combo Fields: Learn Them Already People!

Here is the sad fact….. unless you are in an established team with voice chats; combo-fields are nothing more then lucky based opportunity gimmicks.

Dynamic Events = Zerg, sPvP = Zerg, WvW = Zerg
You get enough people in the area… someone drops a combo-field, someone else is bound to drop a combo-finisher..

THIS IS NOT SKILL !!!!!

This was not planned, there is no strategy, it can not be used as a tactic!
It is nothing more then fluke based fluff!!!.

Anyone who says they have full control of combo’s out in the open are full of kitten!
they don’t… !!

I play a warrior.. I have no combo fields, yet I am often setting of combo finishes…
no skill.. no strategy.. just happen to be in the right place when a combo finisher was not on cool down…. AND I used the combo finisher for its normal skill, not because I wanted to activate a combo..

WHY?? because in this zerg of a game, with ultra quick combo fields, I don’t have time to plan out an entire chess game in moves; I spam whatever the hell is up.

and again.. anyone who says different is full of it, and just trying to make out they have skill… which they don’t.

this game is a kiting, dodging, ranged favoured, zerg fest :P

Warrior: Tactics 5 Point'r

Ok, I am a level 65 warrior.
I have gone for the most tank like build I can (yes that is how I like to play).

There is the 5 point tactics that says “Gain 5 toughness per level when reviving”

This sounds awesome, so not only is my build with massive amounts of toughness / defence & armour able to soak up big hits when reviving, I will now get even more protection.

Unfortunately in practice; this is what actually happen. (tested more then a dozen times with exact same results.

+13 power, + 13 attack +0 toughness +0 armour

I was in a level 57 zone; so depending if its based on character max or zone level, I should have got either 285 or 325 toughness

interesting enough, if you divide 65 by 5 you get 13.
so did someone swap multiply with divide, and target power instead of toughness???

just asking…

Superior Sigils - Multiple Bugs

Hi,

I have searched GW2 Forums, and other forums; abd did fine some posts addressing various issues around the sigils.

I would like to however, focus this post on the Sigils which either “…provides <stat> up to 25 stacks..” or “..on 26th stack <something special happens>..”

I do appreciate, and never expected, having two of the same sigil would give me 50 stacks; but I was pleased to see that I did get two stacks per kill – thus reaching target quicker.

HOWEVER; here are the following problems::

1. Removal of the buff; (confirmed) logging out required (other forum posts) changing zones, (tool tip) on downed.
2. Stacking of DIFFERENT sigils; I was unble to find any consistent pattern between offhand and main main or even weapon switch; but ONLY ONE buff ever applied.

From where I sit, I believe the following should be happening (but clearly is not)
1. un-equipping weapons removes buff (else abuse)
2. swapping weapons should not remove buff (but all buffs must be different; yes it does favour dual wielders who get 3 buffs, but better then constantly swapping weapons to get EVERY buff)
2. in case of dual wield, two different buffs CAN stack on each kill (regardless of what sigil is in main hand or offhand)
3. in case of “..on 26th …” style of sigils; they should reset to 0 BUT actually increase stacking again.

The outstanding question::

Do ANY superior sigils stack?? (for dual weilders, and even weapon swap)
1. If the lack of stacking on different sigils is by design, please respond here and then update the tool tips to say so.
2. If NO sigils stack, then why?? what about dual wielders?

Undying Monthly Achievement

I was going to post a new thread, but I will just add to this one…
I am now level 51 and still not achieved this… at first it was because I did not know the above about using way points, logging out, etc…

Today (just now) I reached 85k, and was so happy it was going to finally happen.
Then I got forced logged out by the client update.

After logging in and confirming the XP had stopped counting for this achievement, I am very very upset.

Its one thing to have to know the strange limitations of this buggy achievement and work around them; its another to be forced out of a system causing it to break.

I am not sure what is in that monthly reward, but I feel very ripped off and demotivated to try again.

its very hard to play the game without using way points.. running around the map is extremely slow and boring.. and I put in hours of effort to do this to make an achievement, and now have been robbed.
