While I would like to offer a coin refund or provide your character with the updated "Box of Berserker’s Draconic Armor, at this time I do not have a method to make these types of changes to a character or account.

However, as a courtesy, I have included the following serial codes to use in game which will provide your account with 2,800 Gems (400 each). You can use these Gems to purchase items in the Gem store, or within the Currency Exchange. At the time of this reply, this would be slightly more than 7.5 gold when exchanged for coin. These can be applied in game using the “Redeem Code” option in the Gem Store.*

With the suggestion from Jason, I submitted another ticket regarding the Box Armor, it’s good to see this will hopefully be resolved in the near future.

Than if we do get past that part, after hours of deaths we still dont know if we’re going to get the correct amount of tokens we’re suppose to get, I’d say with us even knowing we have a chance to get as little as maybe 5 tokens, which means that we will be farming maybe longer than most, I’d say thats quite a bit of patience.

I’m more annoyed by the fact that I can get a group into the dungeon at once, we all have to relog multiple times and keep attempting to get into the same instance, that’s patience enough right there.

I just started running CoF last night and got my helmet, I log on today.
1. I can’t get into the dunegon with people and eventually they give up.
2. We get to “Defend Magg” and get massacred, all in exotic gear. We’re not bad players and still it’s just overwhelming. I’ve tried with 3 separate groups and we can’t get pass thekittendoor to the final area, spent a good 3 hours trying to get some tokens hoping for 60, when even that’s not guaranteed at the moment.

It’s a little sad. On my end it’s a bit sad too, I know it can be done but it just not fun dying so much to possibly get as low as what, 5 tokens?

I spent 7g 50s towards the box and received the wrong armor, since then I’ve gotten better armor (CoF and some Draconic) but the gold would still be nice to have back.

I am glad they fixed the issue, so thanks for that ArenaNet, I still love you guys.

1. Its a game, stop crying. Not like you failed your midterm. The point is…for the amount of time and energy you spent complaining about only 5 gold…you could have worked a real job, bought gems and had it back. Or better yet, you could farm a high level area with + magic find, and get 10g. Yet you spend more time sitting and complaining waiting for someone to come save the day…when in reality if you just would do something about it and work hard, you would be like “its only a video game…life goes on” like the rest of mankind when life screws them over.
2. The point is, be patient. Threatening and saying you are going to quit or this is ridiculous, doesnt help your case.
3. They fix the bugs as they see fit, do you work at Anet? Nope. So who are you to tell them what order.
Its not a huge disappointment. Its not the end of the world. The truth is, in 2 months you will laugh.
The second you realize that gold is the equiv to platinum in GW1…and when that came out it was hard as hell for anyone to get it…youll understand that 5-10g is nothing.
You honestly can get the money back by farming for 2 hours if you dont want to buy gems. Just go to Orr and do the events, you will walk away with PLENTY of gold items that you can sell for 5-10p at the TP.
And then you might realize that the TP takes 15% of your item when you sell it there and stop selling green items for 1c more then the merchant buys them for and save some money that way.
In the end, sitting here posting over and over about how ridiculous it is…just makes you look like you have no life and play video games. File a report, and then go about your way.
Anet will fix the bug, and I am sure they will address it….the game just came out. Just be patient and give them time to do their job. It took them 6 years to make this game….so do you really think they will fix all the bugs over night.

Like I said AGAIN, a lot of us (including me) do not care about the gold anymore, it would be nice to get back but at this moment I could care less, I’ve already made a good majority of it back and would just like it not to happen to people who have recently hit Lv80.

You complain as if we sit here everyday waiting for a reply and us posting replies, yet you take the time to type out 2 of the longest responses in the thread and you probably check back often as well, brilliant.

I farmed Orr for more then 3 hours with the zerg from Lv75-80, it doesn’t net you a ton of gold, at least not the amount I lost.

I also never said I was going to quit the game, I love the game despite this issue and continue to play whenever I’m not playing with my kids or working. Some others have though.

I am sorry you guys lost your gold for this, but its just a video game. The time you spent farming the gold in game, if you were working a real job, would have been cheaper to just buy the gems. Why spend 10 hours farming in the game, any decent job pays 10-20$ an hour (thats without working a nice salary job)…so $200 in gems, that would be more efficient use of your time to just go back to work…work extra and then not deal with farming.

Also, saying you are quitting guild wars because of it….Ha, i checked 3 of you who said that and you are all in game right now. So stop being drama queens. If you honestly think Anet cares if 10 people quit a game they just released…they dont. Each of the servers have 10’s of thousands of players…

It will get fixed when it gets fixed, complaining and bickering about it wont speed up the process. Just submit your support ticket and wait.

I had to wait 2 weeks for a trading post issue to fix, lost 4 gold to it. Finally one morning 4 gold was sitting in my account.

There are most likely 100 other more serious problems in the game right now that require attention over one item.

Patience is a virtue.

1. Some of us don’t care about the gold, it would be nice to get it back but the main thing is they haven’t taken the item down so people will continue to get the incorrect item and lose gold. Work for the gold? We made the gold in game, why should we pay to get something back that we didn’t actually spend money to get, it should just be reimbursed.

2. Your issue with the TP has nothing to do with ours, they didn’t give you the gold back, if the TP stayed up you probably would of received your 4g quickly, but since it went down for maintenance there was a delay and you received it two weeks later.

3. Though there is larger bugs out there, there are also bugs smaller than this one who have already garnered the attention of a support crew, care to explain why?

Seriously, I would feel better even if an Admin came here and acknowledged our issue and said that a fix will be coming even if it is down the road, there’s quite a bit of angry people over this issue and this one is big compared to the others I’ve gone through that have gotten a reply from an admin.

Now I’m pretty mad. I spent 7g 50s on this box and got complete garbage in return, all 6 pieces of the Rare Gladiator’s Gear is worth a whopping 1g 50s, a whole 6g less than what I bought the box for, this is messed up.

I’m pretty laid back but this affects more than 1 person and we are all told they can do absolutely nothing.

Yeah I’d think they would be able to at least reimburse us with gems if they can’t switch items or give the actual gold.
I would like to keep this as close to the first page as possible.

I think I’ll take a small graphical issue that I probably won’t notice over my loss of gold.

We transferred to a new server last night and lost all of our guild points and upgrades. Is this intentional or a bug?

Yeah, the guild upgrades are saved to the server, if you move back, you should have all the upgrades again.

Same issue happened to me, as mentioned in the other thread. I actually sent in my support tickets (both in-game and via web) hours ago and haven’t gotten an email response at all.

Yeah, not sure how the above response email can say they can’t restore items when I know of someone who had their rytlock mini restored to their account after they deleted it.

Yep, I sent in reply to be honest. I’m not angry but I’m really disappointed.

“This is really disappointing to be honest, I’m broke in game now and would have to spend another 3 days farming just to be able to buy something of decent value again. The customer’s who bought this game and love it, don’t get me wrong, I love this game have to suffer from something that should not have happened. This is something that should be resolved, something that is advertised to be one thing and turns out to be something 10 times worse and MUCH less value and we have to eat it.

It really killed my mood in the game, at least for the time being and totally killed my excitement at having something to look forward to when I hit 80 today."

This issue is being investigated and we hope to have a fix for this as soon as possible, however, we do not have an estimated time for when it will be implemented.

This really sucks, how difficult can it be to just switch out the items or something to that effect. My friend has had an item restored to him (Tome of Influence) when he used it by accident.

I just hit Lv80 today and had farmed for the past 3 days because I loved the looks of the Draconic Armor and was looking forward to some cool looking gear once I hit 80. So I buy the box for 7g 50s and bam! out comes some rare gladiator’s gear, that’s only SLIGHTLY better then my Lv70 Exotic Armor.

Very very annoyed. Makes me lose interest in the game to be honest. That’s the most gold I’ve had ever.

So I’ve been farming to death recently because I love how the Draconic Armor looks. Finally get enough gold to purchase the EXOTIC Box of Berserker’s Draconic Armor off the TP, me being excited because I just hit 80 like 10 hour ago and now will have some pretty cool looking gear. I open the box and out comes 6 pieces of RARE Berserker’s Gladiator Armor, definitely not what I purchased for almost 7g 50s, I’m now down to a measly 1g with 6 pieces of armor that sell for less than 3g on the AH. There goes days of farming out the window.

May sound a bit drastic but this kind of kills the mood of playing the game, that’s the most amount of gold I had throughout my entire adventure and to lose it to a bug just annoys me.

I’m super sad and disappointed =(
