Happened on Maguuma around 8 40pm Central or so.
Extremely frustrating. A whole hour wasted on a bug.
Server populations are fine. In case you didn’t notice, a new Living World just came out. Try going to Lion’s Arch and look for people.
so u mean to say people will not go get their first kill on the 2 boss’s wich award Dragon chest’s to have their guaranteed Exotic all to farm LA?? I mean I got my darn tempered spinal wings in 1 night
If I managed to decipher your reply right (guessing english isn’t your first language), yes i am saying that people are prioritizing LA over the world bosses that will always be there. A huge opportunity exists in LA, and a lot of people are capitalizing on it.

My heirloom count appears to have also been somewhat “benefitting” from bouncing in and out of overflows due to DC’s.
Starting to think this is the more likely explanation. really hope this doesn’t get tagged as an ‘exploit’.
hmm tried on an alt and pile is acct based not character, so how you get enough?
Read the post right above yours….
I have a theory.
Heirlooms can drop from the Alliance bags. Alliances bags can be gotten via Black Lion chests, and a massive amount of grinding.
Hence, get as much Alliance bags as possible plus some farming = bam, 250 found Heirlooms.
I would say Ele. If you decide to go that path, there’s a post on Reddit that is enormously helpful: http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/1xiv4t/fellow_elementalists_what_should_i_know_to_be_the/
I am adamantly opposed to instanced raid content.
One of the reasons I came to Guild Wars 2 over the other MMO options was the fact I DIDN’T have to be part of a ‘raiding’ guild to experience the totality of end game. As a player with a full time job and a family, it is so much easier to just show up for an event – even if it is at a set time – and participate.
GW2’s open world content, while still having some kinks to work out(overflow, etc), works for me and obviously other people. Making it instanced is taking a step down a road that I personally don’t want GW2 to start down.
I would rather deal with the occasional overflow rather than having to join up with a group of people, get on their vent server, and have to listen to other people that I don’t care to socialize with. For me, it’s so much easier to show up, communicate through chat if needed, complete/fail the event, and go back to what I was doing before.
For the record, I really enjoyed Tweek’s post. If you’re interested in trying out the train, it was a really good post!
I have found (at lvl 30, anyway) that doing the champion train in Queensdale gives roughly 1/3-1/2 a level per run. I enjoy grinding, so doing this for hours is not a problem for me. It’s a great way to get gear, level your luck, and gain experience!
Here’s a map that explains it if you’re interested: http://imgur.com/AX8eI0c
Just zone in to Queensdale and ask where the zerg is. Join up with them, then follow the map. Enjoy!
