Save Dungeon Progress

While that is a nice suggestion, especially for its intended purpose. It is way too exploitable.

5-man group gets to final boss, 2-3 people purposefully disconnect and get kicked. The remaining party members sell the final boss and finish the dungeon, while those that disconnected begin to relog. When the remaining party members kill the last boss, they rejoin the people that were originally disconnected and are now at the final boss again. It’d be an easily obtainable permaloop of farming/selling the final boss of a dungeon.

The intent is nice but there is no way the game can tell the difference between a legitimate disconnect and people exploiting.

You could block the user to create a party with the other 4 members of the group until the dungeon is reset and create a 1 dungeon save progress per day.

Imagine when you are at the final boss in Fractal of the Mists, all of sudden you are disconnected from the game due to a ISP problem and come back 30 minutes later, but you got kicked from the party and have to do it all over again.

So here is my idea, after being kicked from a party a window will pop-up saying “You have been kicked. What would you like to do?” and 2 options will be displayed, the first one is “Save progress and Look For Group”, it will automatically transfer the player to the last checkpoint or the last discovered dungeon waypoint and pop-up the LFG advertise window, the player will have a 20 minute tolerance time to get a party otherwise the dungeon will reset automatically, the second option is “Exit the Dungeon (Progress will be lost)” and will reset the dungeon.

I know that for my idea happen other mechanics of the game will have to change too, like “How to keep an offline player in a dungeon and how to keep it’s progress?” but I think that my idea would be very helpful and make the gaming experience less stressful for the PvE lovers.

When you hit lvl 30 you can run Ascalonian Catacombs, the first dungeon. Its a breath of fresh air from running Tasks out in the field. Just make sure you get into a group that can explain everything to you.

And here comes another point, my server is empty in all times! I have been logged since 10 am ( GMT – 3 ) to 8 pm ( GMT – 3 ) and i barely see 30-40 people, even the /map chat is dead ( Lion’s Arch )

Well the topic title says it all, I’m dissapointed how boring leveling is sometimes in this game, same heart quests over different areas are getting pretty annoying tho and I’m just at level 17.

I thought I would face fun quests and massives bosses in all levels not only at high levels.
