Ok so I found a fix for this, I had to restore both gw. exe and dat file to previous versions, then I used command /port 80 and it fixed the issues.
I also got tons of replays from support, not one helped it, but if you want I can copy those for you.
I am sorry asking so much, but I decided to reisntall the game, but the when I run the 2set.exe I get error: gw2 set up exe is not valid win32 application….
Thank you for all the replys. I did contact the support and got answer to use -assetsrv 174.35.71.9:80 (maybe it helps someone else outthere) , which ofc didn’t help, or to change my IP adress, which honestly I have no idea how to do.
I will try what Helix advice as well.
And now I have a new issue, since i restarted the client, now I am getting connection error detected, retrying….
This is really frustrating.
So as the title says i have the issue with the new update.
Everything went fine until I got to 1 file remaining.
I tried :
1. . -assetsrv with the available asset server on ( not all of them, but doubt that will change anything)
2. —repair, done nothing, actually program just stopped responding.
3. changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 , nothing changed.
4. msconfig and disabled all the services (apart from windows one), that use to help in the past, but no go.
5. changed language to German, still the same thing. changed back to English same thing, 1 file remaining.
I have issues with this game and patching, since I started playing again, which was more then 3 months ago. -assetsrv worked so far ( which is also horrible game design and support, that I have to do some gimmick to get the game to work) but at least it worked.
Reinstalling the game is not an option since I don’t have the code and Anet is not really helpful in that regard ( or any to be honest). I know this is free to play but the amount of money I spent in your gem store is more then any monthly sub out there. And even if i didn’t spent money the way you answer and resolve problems will just make people stop playing. For me good support is half of the game and I am not getting that here.
Anyway any other ideas? I have done everything I could find online. Should I just go with every single —assetsrv, even though I tried like 20 of them. Thank you in advance.
While I agree that price is fine, I really think that it should have stats as max armor in game. But I guess it is probably the way for Anet to earn money ( people will buy those stones every time they get new armor).
I really don’t think that ANet should give anybody an apology in concern to the one time event. They tried something new, and then released a survey about the event. It’s not that they did not care in this respect because they wanted your direct feedback.
Feels like it was beta with that survey.
I had no issues with event, apart from that fact it was boring as hell, but I still think they do need to apologizes for that mess.
One more question, can my card be blocked now since i tried like 10 times to buy gems? I know some companies do this, block card for a day after more then 3 tries.
Having the same issue as many people here. I can not buy gems as it says card approval failed. My credit card is fine and I used it before for buying gems. Problem must be on your end.

they are not restoring my tokens, silver and xp?!

I am not going to do any more dungeon runs until they fix this, since its just giving me headache. So far I missed on more then 200 tokens.
I have done Ta about 5,6 times since the patch, max I got was 30, then it went to 15 and one run I even got 1!
I have never done speed runs, never exploited anything in any game I have every played. Heck I am always very careful not to do things that are even a bit suspicious to me. And missed on more then 200 tokens. I wasnt able to log in to forums until today. I tried to contact your support and answers I got are unbelievable, from quoting patch few times to the point where a guy answered me talking about how to get HOM rewards(!?). The only answer I got that was somewhat useful to me was that ANET Is not able to restore any of the missing tokens. So dont hope for that.
Honestly if you want people to go on with playing this game get better support, hire more people, do whatever you need to do, but it has to be better. For me support is half of the game and yours is nonexistent at this point.

I have the same problem and honestly ANET your support is horrible, since the patch I have been trying to resolve this issue and didnt get one answer that seems like anyone even read my question, I got answers about HOM rewards (?!), answers that were quoting patch etc.
Anyway I have the same issue. I have never got 60 tokens since the change. So here is my history with this problem:
I have run TA 1st day of the patch, first and only run of the day I get 30 tokens, rest of my party gets 60. Next day, again first run of the day I get 30 tokens rest of my party gets 60. We try to do different path and I get only 15 tokens this time while rest of my party gets 60.
Next day again one and only run of the day I get 15 tokens, I try to accept I get kicked from the game and when I come back there is only 1 token with no money or experience. Do I need to say that rest of my party got 60. This keeps happening all the time I am only getting 30 or 15 tokens while rest of the people I play with get 60.
I have never done any exploit, I have never done any speed runs, I have never run dungeons back to back. Its really game breaking to me. I do understand that you cant give me those 200+ tokens I missed out on as you said many times in those support emails , but at least fix it so I can get 60 tokens from now on, since like this I really have no reason to play, if its going to take me 3 times more time to get the armor I want compering to rest of the players.
