I am asking this question so that I don’t accidentally get banned by an automated anti-cheating system. I am wondering if GW2 does not allow any DLL injecting whatsoever. Can players use things such as SMAA injection-based graphics card drivers and be flagged as hacking or botting? Also, does ANet allow any mods?

What are the best methods for getting a precursor/which is the most efficient? (I am shooting for the lover to make the dreamer)
Is putting exotics into the mystic forge the best way, mystic forging rares, or simply farming gold and buying the precursor?
What are the relative and general creation rates from rares and exotics in the mystic forge?

My question is: are there any soulbound items that can be turned into gold (through some means) to make a profit? Is there any way to take badges of honor, dungeon tokens, or karma, which do not have a natural gold value due to them being soulbound, and turn them into gold? Can someone purchase items using tokens/badges and use them in the mystic forge to create a non soulbound item or use a technique similar to this to effectively sell tokens/badges for gold?

I know that there are a lot of recipes that have a large profit margin but require that the user find the recipe through rare random drop (i.e. Bloodstone Fragment).

I was wondering if the payoff of magic find is worth the fact that you have to sacrifice stats that allow you to kill mobs faster for it. Magic find gear ultimately makes you kill monsters at a slower pace; is it worth it?

Hi, I recently hit 80 on my ranger but still know very little about the game. I’ve been told that all level 80 exotic gear has the exact same stat total. Since this is the case, what is the point of farming after you have the set of exotics that you want (or a few sets in the case of people who have gear for specific mobs)? Do people farm the items just for the item skins? I know that there are fractals that require ascended pieces but I don’t see the point of farming these areas if you only get gear that helps you farm fractals better. Are there any longer term goals for gear other than legendary weapons which don’t give you any stat bonuses?

I didn’t want to be anti-social, in fact I was planning on starting a guild, I simply wanted to know where to start so that I don’t waste time on an inefficient path.

How do I acquire these items? Are they all crafted?

I play very casually (I’m a noob) and was wondering if someone could explain to me what gear I should be shooting for now that I am lvl 80. I plan on using shortbow/longbow but am currently using shortbow/greatsword. I have read about the legendary weapons (the dreamer) but don’t know how I should approach the rest of my gear.
