Giving them health would make them useless.
How exactly? It’s rare currently for my minions to die.
I would like to see manifest sand shade/sand savant x3 count as a turret minion so that there would be a greater synergy with Death Magic: Flesh of the Master, Necromantic Corruption and Blood Magic: Vampiric, Vampiric Presence.
Currently, a sand shade feels more like a well, but there’s no benefit from Blood Magic: Vampiric Rituals.
Edit: Since I’m spec’d as a MM and find most of my minions resilient, I don’t personally have a problem with sand shades having a health pool. Sand shade duration and fixed positioning made them extremely transient already, but since this appears to be the main point of contention… Honestly I’m fine with it either counting as a well or a minion. Neither Death Magic or Blood Magic seem to get a spot in many builds. I’d be dropping Blood Magic for it (if not for the extreme decay on barrier), but if Blood Magic had a proper synergy with it, I could see a nice support build out of that.
