Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone and thanks for reading. I have been away for almost a year, I was a 100% WvW player. Now I want to try my luck at sPvP. I was thinking Ranger or Mesmer, but after looking around the forums I am not sure anymore. I know I don’t want to run an Ele, just not a fan of the class.

So I guess I am a beginner again. So what class does everyone recommend I try out? This will be almost only solo hot join.

MU and RET, great fights tonight in bay. I know we were murdered by MU when we tried to run in the first time, came back and Killed RET and MU. RET came back and we were fighting them on the wall and MU was all like “look at those two turds fighting on the wall right in front of lords room. Hey lets cap it, they won’t notice” then you guys capped it RIGHT in front of us lmao. Then we killed you (We had like a 50 man zerg in bay though, you guys only had about 20-25) and we sat there for about 5 min for RI to get up, then you guys came back in and steamrolled us haha. Lots of fun.

That was fun. You guys and gals fight hard. Your guild is one of the very few that do not run from us. So to you and your guild I " / bow "

Fun times on BGBL tonight! Some really fun fights (oddly enough, defending North Camp was one of my favs… I outright giggled when you sent a yak in as a scout). Total props to TC for one of the first fights of the night at Hills… The universal ‘WTF’ when you flipped inner right under our noses was hilarious. Also to [NOPE]: Thanks for being a royal pain in the butt all night. It kept us on our toes. I’ve been looking forward to seeing you guys again ever since the TC/Kain/x t2 matchup threads back in the day. Please continue keeping things challenging and fun!

This match up has been a blast, the most fun {TSL} has had in a long time. We will be looking forward to a long week filled with great fights.

After trying out both last night, GS was the clear win for the zerg fighting. It was a big help after getting my portal into the lords room on hills and using GS #5 to push people back so it was a bit safer for my group.

I will be going GS and sword/focus for my weapons, I like the idea of sig of fire on the GS.

Now to work out a build lol.

I was thinking since I will be in the heart of the fight a lot running lemongrass and mel runes so condition wont matter much.

My guild is very low on mesmers, only 3 of us, and I am the main. We run a 20-30 man raid, so I will be in the thick of things more often than not. One weapon set is sword and focus, but I am torn on what to run for the second weapon set. both seem to have there place.

I guess my question is this. Is one clearly better than the other? Do I just need to have one in my bag and switch out? I would rather not, but if it is the best option I will.

If we had spies on TC – They would be pretty crummy spies, all things considered, lol

We have an entire guild of spies on TC. Not sure if they belong to you but our spies, whoever they are really need to go to the same siege re-targeting, golem cliff diving school that the ones on TC went too.

I can think of about a million other things I’d rather do with my time than create another account just for ‘totally not spying!!’

No worries, our next batch of super spies are going to be awesome! Right now though, in training camp, they keep forgetting to MAN the siege suits BEFORE jumping off the cliff

LOL, that made my day. I have seen way to many a “Spy” forget to suit up. It’s the best when they run back by and do it again.

Redmist-warband’s main focus will be about World vs World the success of our server Northern Shiverpeaks.

Our Goal
The main focus of the Redmist-warband in GW2 will be WvW and make Northern Shiverpeaks the top server in North America. To build a community to be proud of. Don’t let that scare you though as there will be other things in GW2 that we will be doing, whether it’s PvE, Dungeons, etc. Redmist-warband is a casual to hardcore WvW guild looking to expand our already growing community of 210+ members. We are looking for like minded people who strive to be the very best and who love to see their enemy driven before them and crushed. We request that you bring a mature attitude when socializing and gaming with members of the guild and other gamers.

World vs World
- Be a team player, not all tasks in WvW are fighting. Sometimes you’ll be asked to do things that do not directly relate to fighting the enemy.
- Understand our goal is to be renowned as a great WvW guild and community. To be the best guild on the best server.
- Be willing to lose to learn, without raging on guild members or people on our server.
- Undertake resource and supply gathering for the guild while in the WvW zones.
- Understand its expected that you fight with the guild, for the guild and server.

We do expect a high level of guild participation in planned WvW events.

We have a basic set of rules that are fair for everyone and that all members are expected to follow.

Guild Rules

1.Never insult, trash talk, put down or otherwise demean your fellow guild members or other players on the server. We are trying to build communication and teamwork on the server and all those habits do is divide people.

2. Teamspeak is a requirement for ALL WvW events.

3.When in your WvW squad you are to follow your squad leaders commands. Working together toward a stated objective is much more effective than individuals going out on their own. Strength in numbers.

Most Importantly: A lot of us have wives/husbands and children, we understand that family will always be first priority.
