Hi everyone!

If ArenaNet would create a new weapon type, what would you like it to be?

Personally I’ve always been a huge fan of two-handed Polearms/Glaives in other MMOs, especially because I love playing a Warrior class and because they look great!

Basically it’s the same idea as the spear weapon type that is already in game, but unfortunately it’s not usable on land. It’s a weapon that I’ve always missed in this franchise, although they introduced the spear as a one-handed ranged weapon with the release of Guild Wars: Nightfall, but still it wasn’t used as a melee weapon.

Honestly I wouldn’t know what the added value would be of this weapon (perhaps longer range than greatsword and more Crowd Control?) but it would look amazing for sure!

So again, if you could add a new weapon type to the game what would it be?
FYI: This is just a topic for fun, there’s no right or wrong answers!

I know this might be kind of a strange topic, because yeah… There is an in game Trading Post. But since I cannot wait to buy this skin and do not want to pay 250G for it here’s my question.

Is there anyone, who maybe forgot about it because they dropped it in their bank a long time ago, that would like to sell his Deathly Mantle Skin to me? Currently I am offering 120G 5S 50C for it on the trading post (highest offer). But as of yet, no one has sold it to me. I am guessing that this skin is kind of dead as to people selling/trading it.

I need to complete 5 more runs in Arah to get the full set on my Norn Warrior.
Today I thought I would do 2/3 runs, however…

Run 1 failed.
Run 2 failed.
Run 3 failed.

What is going on in Arah? None of my parties were capable of killing Lupicus.
Has Lupicus been improved by ArenaNet or have noobs decided to take over Arah parties?

I used to be able to tank Lupicus and get hit like 3/4 times and still survive. This time I couldn’t even survive 2 hits. Yes, sometimes Lupicus was ‘Empowered’ cus my noob team couldn’t even kill the kitten grubs after he went to phase 2.

I’m super frustrated atm cus I’ve lost all hope in completing the last few Arah runs to complete my armor set…

In short, for those who don’t like to read a whole story:

• Full Magic Find gear: 1 rare drop in 6 events
  (Yes, I always join a party when farming)
• Salvaging rares for ectos results in 1 ecto per 3 rare items.
• Cursed Shore events overcrowded. Give the event mobs more HP so everyone can hit them or find an other way to get people away from Cursed Shore and to some other place where they can get nice gold and karma.

Full story:

I am having trouble getting a decent amount of gold like a lot of other players do. So according to some players ‘farming’ events in Cursed Shore is the best way to do this.

I crafted myself a nice Magic Find armor set, a greatsword, upgrades, sigils, runes, accessories, food blablabla because people say that this raises your chance of getting rare loot. In short: Now I got tons of Magic Find.

So I started farming Penitent and Shelter with my Guardian that I got to 80 today and this is what happened (no joke):

- Average of 1 rare drop in 6 events.
- Got an average of 1 ecto for 3 rare items.

So my question is: WHAT IS GOING ON? Did you decrease the droprate of rare items?

Some people in my parties say: “Oh well, it’s you just you having bad luck today.”
The problem is that I had the same thing on my warrior who also has full Magic Find, while all my friends are counting the rares every event: “1… 2… 3… 4…” and I’m going: “0… 0… 0… still 0…” How does this system work? I don’t think it’s working properly because this isn’t about luck anymore, I believe there’s something more to it.

However I did get some lucky events on my warrior but that was weeks ago, when the cursed shore wasn’t as crowded as it is now. Which brings me to another point!…

Cursed Shore events are WAY overcrowded. This is probably not the first time you read about it, but it is a serious issue. People go there because it’s the best place to farm gold and karma. But here’s the thing: mobs drop dead before you can even see them.

So these are the problems that I am encountering in the game.

Things I would like to know:

• Is my account cursed?
• How does Magic Find EXACTLY work?
• When can we expect a different way of earning a decent amount of gold instead of farming very boring and overcrowded events?
• How are you going to fix the issue of overcrowded events?

No one from ArenaNet can help me with this?

I was cleaning up my storage and found some crafting materials that I wanted to sell.
But somehow, I missclicked a lot on 1 crafting material and instead of selling it on the TP I sent a mail. Instead of clicking ‘close’ I missclicked again on ‘send’ without filling in the receiver.

So now I just mailed my crafting materials to no one and I’m not getting a mail back with some kind of error. Where did my materials go and how do I get them back?

Voidlol, it takes 7 days to get back to your own server after a transfer right?

I’ve already seen some complaints about “Nightcapping” in WvW but I just wanted to tell my point of view aswell.

When I logged in this morning (Desolation server) I saw that Vizunah Square (FR) took over 90% of the Borderlands during the night. I’ve been trying to get my 100% World Completion for over a week, and I still didn’t get the opportunity to achieve this title because our server just can’t handle the other servers preasure in WvW.

So my suggestion is, don’t make all the POIs, Vistas and SPs count towards the World Completion, because it’s nearly impossible to get your title the way it is now. (Except for the people on Vizunah Square).

WvW currently isn’t motivating me at all because I know that all the hours I will spend on it are useless/ineffective.
