No, enormous glittery war hippos etc. are just tacky and in poor taste. I love the fact that this game doesn’t have them. I don’t want them in my game, and that means not only do I not want to use them, but I don’t want to be forced to see them everywhere either.

If they wanted to add some more small, discrete mounts, like the three already in game, then I say go for it. Just keep them reasonably sized(not by your weapon sized idea of reasonable either Anet, actually reasonable) and not as tacky and cheap as those awful white and black wings, and make sure they’re just cosmetic, absolutely no speed boosts. A regular, plain old horse would be fine, maybe a Charr war bike, etc. So long as they fit lore, fit aesthetically, and give no measurable in game advantage I say do it.

The problem is, that’s not what you people want. You want glittery twelve feet tall pegasi with unicorn horns and sparkle auras that you magically pull out of your pocket for a free 100% speed boost whenever you feel like it. shudder No, just no, no forever, no for eternity, no times infinity plus one.

The game already have disgusting items such as huge useless wings, that to me look terrible with all the costumes, i havent seen a single character with wings that look good. While mounts have sense, and as long they stay as Horses and other good looking mounts that are not a….weird dragon or those clown looking ones, mounts are nice as long they dont look dumb.

Also, the old costumes like Viper and Hex are going to come back? with the release of the expansion and the Halloween event? i really wish it happen! is kinda a new start after all with so many changes…

Hex might be brought back since its been a year. Viper armor was removed about 10 days ago. It’s not likly they’ll take the Viper armor out one month and then put back in the next since they want it to be “new” again. A 4-6 month period of time is a more reasonable expectation.

Theres still a chance u_u, i mean, is the first expansion of the game, they could bring back all the expired costumes the first days and then remove them, i really wish it happen Y.Y, if not then i will have to stop using medium armor class’s until then…

To be honest, the fact that theres no mounts mean that they dont want money, they are used for costume porposes, they look very good and make you feel confortable with out being pay2win at all, as one easy example, Trove, the mmorpg with low graphics litteraly gift you a horse at the start that run as the same speed as ALL the mounts in the game, and even tho, everyone spend a lot of real money only for good looking mounts and also they farm the hard instances in order to get the rare mounts.

Mounts in MMORPG are never utility items, they are so useful as the costume weapons, finishers and armors.

Ugh, then ill use this chance to ask, any of you guys have the Viper costume for sale? i really want it u_u

Omg seriusly? i am going to have a heart attack….now i am stuck with many boring pants T.T

i want the Engi to be my main class tho i dont have any yet…i need someone to teach me how to play Engi correctly at PVP, is a mess for me..so many skills, Elementalist is incredible easy if you think how many skills the Engi have to use x_x

I was wondering when does this costume is going to come back? is the only one with an actual skirt for medium armor and i really would like to get it, most of the medium armor pants look the same, is so boring…while the Heavy and Light armors have a lot of options…u_u
