Guild Wars 2

Hello, Im levelling my thief at the moment and was wondering if around like 28-30 there are some world bosses i can fight (random events) for gear and weapons

So im currently levelling my thief and collecting & banking most of them, im only level 28. Would people suggest just save them all till im 80? As im new to the game, its all a little intimidating if im honest. Just wondered if people could give me some tips on the crafting aspect of this game

So basically im kinda new to guild wars 2, Im finding it hard to actully level at the moment im currently level 18 theif, at gaints passage in kessex hills i belive, Its taking me ages to level from 18-19 i cant find anything to do, I know this i really noob, But just wondering if theres some advice that can be given to help me level.
