seriously people how can you not see that pve needs more work across the board…..

1. ) Dungeons are boring, lack of “exciting” and “meaningful” loot.
2.) Bosses are tiny and often overshadowed by larger scale characters.
3.) Waaaaay too many 1 shot mechanics. Takes away from interesting gameplay.
4.) Zero personal progression and a severe lack of “Reward”.
5.) Once you hit the gear wall, and have all exotics……. thats it…. lame.
6.) No large scale organized PVE, dare I say raids…… Inc Flame.
7.) Sorry excuse for world bosses with zero exciting loot.
8.) skins are only sooo exciting for soooo long….. /sadface.

Seriously, I love the art, lore, gameplay, but is that really enough to make someone log in and stay logged in? Trying to re invent the wheel can only go so far. I would love to see this game get more than a hundred views on twitch, and more people logging in and playing. But having to use a website to find a group for PVE content was kinda the nail in the coffin for me. What are some of everyone’s thoughts on this? I mean let’s all take our “Fan-Boy” frame of mind out and be no partisan on this topic and get some good discussion going, and who knows maybe arena net will take notice.

its anets choice to give us no end game, the current endgame is completing things, and pet collection is an example of that. This is absurd.

This game is all about aesthetics, and some people like to collect minipets. This was the case in GW1 and it is still the case in GW2. I personally bought 30 boxes and only got 1 minipet and nothing else of value out of them (not even a hat), so I’m feeling the sting. Really wish I had the option of just buying the minis.

Wintersday = 90% sucsess
Minipet pack not in gem store = 100% failure

When I purchased gift boxes off the gem store to get Reindeer tonic, and no mini pets…….

because you obviously are not a completionist nor do you truley care about the “collection” concept for mini pet collecting. There is a large audience of fans who are really upset. Go troll somewhere else please.

Wintersday gifts in the Gem store, but unlike the halloween pet pack, they instead decieded to go with a spend lots of money and maybe you will get them. which ever designer or marketing person who came up with this idea should be fired. The spooky trio was a smash succsess why on earth would they do this to the fans…….

you misunderstand i may not believe your story but you are right about the RNG minis that is the wrong direction for minis but it happened hopefully not again but they did it that way im only trying to give support to A net this is a new system for any MMO they got to test it it ll be rocky before it gets smooth lots of people are QQing and saying i quit over something that isn’t necessary

I have not heard anyone say, “I quit”. However if this is the direction of the gem store than maybe I should just give up on it all together as far as making purchases other than bank slot and bag slot expansion.

I would love to know who’s brilliant idea it was at arenanet to make the pets RNG.

This RNG nonsense needs to go. This was a failure of a marketing move! More people will buy a sure thing than a gamble. I for one will not be gambling. And like many others so very disappointed that we did not get a holiday pack of minis like the spooky trio.

I have been experiencing microstutter on my gtx 660. with the latest drivers. I recently did a driver update to the new beta drivers… however every time i try to do a clean install the screen goes black during installation of the new driver and sits there. I can however run a regular install and it works fine. But the microstuttering is still there but not as bad. Why is this?

i7 3770
16gb ram
gtx 660
1tb 7200rpm HDD

other people with less of a machine claim they are 60 fps everywhere with zero microstutter…………..

options like
-let the app deciede
- specific GW2
- or general programs..

I just got a brand new alienware x51 with the following specs..

i7 3770
gtx 660 1.5g
16gb ram
1tb hdd 7200rpm

what settings in the nvidia control panel should i be running? i have the latest drivers but i get 60fps most places but when in lions arch and some other locations i get microstuttering and fps dips to 34 fps… i dont understand it.. this computer craps on every other game i own. Is it GW2 not being optimized? also can any please help me setup the nvidia control panel plz. Also I notcied that reflections on “all” creates micro stuttering.

im wondering if dropping a small ssd in there just for this game might make a change??

Ya out in the world i get a steady 60fps after the new build came out tonight, with little drops here and there in divinitys reach. Things look on the up and up ;-)

and yes it is high end and brand new, sure the gpu could be better but a 660ti is not bad, and i have overkill ram, and like the best proc. so ya

I have seen videos of people playing on simaler rigs with no issue… im baffled.

I just got a new Alienware gaming rig just for this game.

i7 3770
16 gigs corsair vengeance 1600mhz
GTX 660 1.5g
running at 1920 × 1080

game constantly bounces between 45-58 fps….. like when its bouncing in fps it looks kinda choppy. I have the latest nvidia drivers as well…. I am at a loss. Please help!
