Ok, since last patch there has been something that felt a little off about my male Norn warrior and today i figured out what, The animation is different.

it appears that male Norn wielding 1 handed weapons now use the same running animation as with weapons sheathed which when combined with swiftness gives a sped up jogging animation, which in my opinion looks terrible.

I noticed this because i used to deliberately run around with weapons drawn to avoid my sun catcher back piece from clipping into the cloth on the back of my tier 3 chest armor. However it now clips in exactly the same way as with weapons sheathed, and as said, when running with swiftness the sped up animation looks awful.

So as a final question if anyone from Anet checks this, What’s the deal? Why was this changed? I understand some people can feel like they’re moving slower as a large character because of the slow lumbering animation, but teeny tiny steps at such a fast pace does not make me feel like i’m moving any faster.

As a side note, i decided to post this in the Norn forum but i’m wondering whether i should also post it in the game bugs section as well. Any feedback would be welcome.

Same problem here, Seems to be the one underwater for both myself and a friend i was doing these achievements with. Stuck on 9 of 10.

Certainly a sad day for GW2 to see the end of RG, you guys have been a dominating force and an inspiration i’m sure to the WvW community.

If you’re talking about the armor shown as an example at the beginning of creation when choosing the class then yes you can get that armor, it’s the Norn cultural tier 3 available from the merchant in the great lodge in Hoelbrak.
