You know, I have wondered how safe it actually is to have a piece of an elder dragon in a high population area like that. Mayhaps its somehow inert?

Possibly. I was thinking if it’s inert, then it’d be by Jormag’s design. If it’s not by design, then I suppose it’d have something to do with how Aesgir managed to knock the tooth out.

Please forgive me if this has been discussed previously, but I’ve only recently rejoined the Guild Wars 2 forums.

In the Great Lodge at Hoelbrak, one of Jormag’s teeth sits right in the middle of the entire hall. We know that the Elder Dragons have a very focused point on ‘corruption’ and ‘consumption’. What I’m curious about, is it possible that the tooth is slowly corrupting the people of Hoelbrak? Is it likely? I’d like to hear what other people have to say.

Personally, I think that Jormag is biding his time with the tooth, waiting to use it as a Trojan Horse against the Norn. It’s an Elder Dragon’s tooth, surely it still can bare some of the properties of the dragon it once belonged to.
