But still none wants a engi in there melee group, none invites me in wvw i ended up in a mixed goup and there is no guardian with stability.

Why should i take an engi if i can have a warrior or guardian?

Because engineer can be a mixture of guardian and warrior!
You got a lot of condi → boon conversion which is done by warriors as far as i know, you can stun your enemies several times (also warrior), you can buff your party with might (guard) you can give them stability (guard), you can provide water fields (neither of them can), you can attack from afar and you can heal your party for great amounts.

i wanted to share a little story of mine:
at the time when celestial gear was first introduced i went out for a quest to build a set where i would have more stats then anyone else because engineers are a hybrid class and can make very good use of ervery stat at once. ages later i completed my set and went into wvw and within the first few minutes i got ganked by 3 players at once and even though i hardly knew how to play my build (i was not a very good player at that time either) i managed to kill them all which validated my whole concept.
long story short… the build got nerfed, wasn’t viable anymore and i was really sad because building a whole ascended gear + infusions and divintiy runes for 10+ gold each was quite a commitment at that time.
with the remake of the mortar the build got a buff but still wasn’t viable as engineer had way too many projectiles which could be reflected. this and the damage nerf of the mortar broke my heart and it was the first time in almost three years that i just couldn’t justify playing engineer in wvw anymore. on the other hand we got the introduction of chronomancer which i really liked and there was no possible way on earth that i would play something else than mesmer once that HoT hits.
BUT: the scrapper brings some new things to the engineer that give him more than just one viable role in wvw and which were badly needed. funnily enough we even get a role that only engineers can fill which is cleansing towers off mesmers and thiefs (which to be honest isnt the most spectacular thing but it is a million times better than nothing).
I have to say that the gyros feel pretty underwhelming but with a few buffs they might get some use… hell i’m even thinking about using one or two already. the hammer though is awesome and is exactly what we needed (assuming that the attacks deal enough damage).
to put the cherry on the cake you brought back the beloved build of mine that i mentioned earlier and made something viable where victory or defeat are 100% depending on the playerskill which is something that us engineers love.

tl;dr: while there are some things that can be improved on the engineer/scrapper (like that mortar auto attack – pls buff it ;-D at least a little bit) you gave us skills that give us so many options to finally be viable in wvw and i really want to thank you for that. while there was no possible way on earth that someone would have convinced me to go back from cronomancer to engineer yesterday, i can hardly contain the hype that i’m feeling today to finally be viable in wvw with an engineer today =D
