I was charged gems. I keep track of them in notepad just incase something like this happens.

Just a thought, but did you guys (and anyone else experiencing this) lose money in one of the Trading Post crashes?

Same happened to me tonight.
I was playing as usual and out of nowhere got 4 emails for items from Black Lion Trading Co. It was 4 dye packs. I did not purchase anything in days from there.

Also, it deducted gems from my account matching the cost of 4 dye packs.

I’m a bit torn if you should even report them.

My account was hacked last week and used to send ingame mail for gold selling. I believe that’s why people are getting their accounts back and then getting banned once the reports are processed.

First, thanks for getting my account back up and going. My characters were thankfully not deleted.

I purchased $200 worth of gems and lost most of the items and all of the gold those gems were used to purchase when my account was hijacked. I got 1 day of enjoyment from those gems before this happened.

Are you telling me that I’m out of luck and to put in another $200 to get back to the state I was at before this happened? I really want to start playing again now that my account is back, but at this point I don’t have faith that this won’t happen again, as well as a sour taste in my mouth from so much money going down the drain.

I can understand from a technological perspective that you might not have the ability to restore an account at this time. However, I seriously doubt that your not tracking gem purchases and purchases on the trading post. I’m not asking to have the exact items I had restored. I’d like someone to take a serious look at my account history and give me a comparable amount of gems. I cannot in good faith put any more money into this game unless this happens.

I hear ya, same predicament here. I even spent 200 in gems and lost most of that as well. I got a reply into my ticket but they haven’t got back with me.

If I can’t play the game without fear of any hacker(yes partially my fault), bug, or accidental click removing items I spent money for, I won’t play the game.

What makes this worse for me is that this game is really good otherwise. Last night I logged in and was so sick to my stomach I just logged back out.

I put $200 in gems on my account the day before it was hacked. Needless to say, everything that was not character bound is gone.

What recourse do I have?
