I must bump this topic.
So, hey guys. I really miss skill cast bars. With the mess of particle effects and tiny animations done by Asura it is extremely difficult to interrupt skills. This is an issue that has been bothering me for a while as I tremendously enjoy interrupting skills.
I miss the cast bars that were present in Guild Wars 1, and playing Wildstar’s beta made me miss them even more.
If one could put cast bars in to the game, I would be ecstatic… I’m sure other classes wouldn’t mind the opportunity to NOT blow their dazes via guessing when an enemy is using a crucial skill.
If cast bars in pvp reduce competitiveness of it, leaving them out is fine I guess but… For Pve and coordinating to interrupt bosses and trash mobs… It would be great and I would venture to guess that it would improve the experience as well.
P.S. I’m really looking forward to the new Mesmer trait, I would like an opportunity to use it, haha.
