My mailbox is completely empty since a few days. So nothing can stuck.
Here is a screenshot I did during the event. There was a huge wave of
Karka rolling over all of us who came out of nothing. So I made a screenshot,
because it looked to funny. This proves that I was there. So: Where is my chest?
I don’t believe that they really looked at some logs or whatever. It seems that they just sent out chests to random people and nothing else. And if you had the luck that you could open the chest at the event and got a second one or if you didn’t even log in at that day and got one you can be happy now. I don’t want precursors because not everyone got one at the event. There was just a CHANCE for this. All I asked for was
to get the same CHANCE to get something nice and the bag. That’s a complete disaster, ANet and the fact that there is no official statement until yet proves that
they either know they did something wrong or don’t want to think about that anymore….
It IS unfair. I took part on this event for three hours then had a dc for no reason
what wasn’t my fault. And I got NOTHING for it! Because ANet thinks I am not
worth getting something although I did the same like all the other gamers.
I just couldn’t give the Karka Boss a final “hit”. I never wanted legendary stuff
and even didn’t expect a chest at then end of the event. Now I didn’t even got
the bag! That sucks!
Whilst I agree that ANet should probably implement some sort of ‘keep alive’ system so that dc’s from events/dungeons doesn’t have such an impact, ask yourself why you disconnected but thousands of others didn’t? The only people that I know who had lag or dc’s were people with sub par Internet. I’m in the UK so only get 10mb and I had no problems. You can’t blame all your dc issues on ANet or their servers.
Ummm… did you read all the stuff here or just the latest comment? It is not that “a few people” had a dc and “thousand of others didn’t”. In fact thousands of players HAD a dc right at the end of the event and you can’t blame US for this. It is not our provider who had problems, it is not our internet connection and also our computers are not the ones to blame. The problem was A-Nets Log-In-Server and nothing else and so we CAN blame A-Net for it. I don’t say that this happened because they have bad servers or what. I think it happened because thousands of people tried to log to another character to do the event again. If you are in the lucky position that you were able to open the chest and get your reward in the end then: Congrats! But a lot of us couldn’t do this and it was definitely not OUR fault!
It’s one a clock in the morning here and I have to get up early. So I don’t care if it repeats or not. For me it is over. I wasted 2 1/2 hours for nothing. Neither Karma, nor some money for all the repairs, no bag, nothing.
