Yeah, I was able to figure out how the “revive” mechanic work with the Battle Standard. But did we already get a dev saying that it is WAI? Because the way it currently is working seems like a very dirty workaround for me…

If it is WAI, they should at least change the skill description to “Heals fallen allies by a large amount”.

There’s a bug (probably for some time and already reported) that causes a dropped Battle Standard to not revive other players when they are inside a damage field. The banner will heal them for some amount but won’t rally them.

Isn’t that one of the core principles of GW2? Then explain the way for unlocking the trait in Lyssa’s temple.

I’m not complaining about the players that do the defend event or the players begging of map chat to let it fail, I’m questioning the design decision behind this.

So, I believe some other people went through this as well. You get to the escort part and the elite dredge keep respawning over and over again.

We were able do avoid it by doing the following: after we killed the first foreman, we waited for the chat between Tarleov and another dredge. When they finished talking, the objective changed to listing the other four foremen health bars. This made the dredge stop respawning on the escort part.

We usually went through that part so fast that by the time Tarleov finished talking, we were already attacking one of the other foremen, which may well be the cause of the bug.
