So yeah. During wintersday, i did PvP a lot. i REALLY enjoyed myself. Got me into serious PvP (well i have a more serious mindset because i understand it)

So what i want to ask is this.

Waiting on a match sometimes takes a while. I dont like Alt Tabbing because i dont want to miss a match.

How do we fix this? add more things to jump on! back in wintersday, all the presents were a blast to jump about. I think a small jumping puzzle, or even a small sky path with holes to jump over.. THAT WOLD BE AWESOME

We have been around for a long time. And most of us have been in the game since launch. If you are a newer player, thats great! we love new players! A lot of us have the experience and know how to teach you anything you need to know about the game.

Dungeons, Fractals, WvW, sPvP (we have a few big names :P), Jumping puzzles, builds or anything more!

What we are looking for in a player
We generally prefer mature, respectful and respectable members. Being social and open and friendly with the guild is a big part of who we are.

We are looking for people who are active. We want people who are looking for a main guild to join.
While we don’t require 100% rep, we generally prefer you to represent [Tyme] while playing.
Obviously the idea of specialty guilds are a thing. If you run with a guild for boss events or whatnot, thats totally fine. just don’t forget were here. :P

We want people who are willing to hop on ventrilo and socialize with other guild members. The guild as a whole are the ones who do this. If you dont want to be a part of the voice, then what are you other than a name on a list? Also not a requirement, but prefered.

The only real requirement is to be an adult (18+) with an aptitude for maturity.
Obviously, were not robots. we love joking around and goofing off. Dirty jokes, sarcasm, humor. all of the good stuff.

we just DONT want members who are rude to other members. thats it.

I like everyones opinion on here. It makes me happy to see that were talking about this in a way thats constructive.

My intent with this post was not to defend A-net for kittenty marketing decisions. There are plenty of other ways to make money rather than easy grabs like this.
i AM infact defending their right to try to make money.

Could the game do without the terrace and the airship? Absolutely.
Am i personally offended that this is in the game? Hell no.

Bottom line is, Its not negatively impacting the game as a whole. Its a shallow convenience to the players.

To single a few points out though.

- the lack of a mystic forge in every city. Yes, i forgot about this. Its silly to me that the MF was only in LA. But it has lore associated with the reasoning behind its location. So its not that big of a deal. the vigil and the airship and the terrace AND WvW all have a forge, as well as Heart Of The Mists. (HOTM has no bank, which is stupid as kitten IMO)

- me saying “Deal with it.” Poor word choice on my part. Uncool. This isn’t league of legends, were civilised here in the shire.

I stand behind what i meant by it though. It was more a bit of flavor text to set a tone. (probably a bad decision)
I simply want people to not be upset over the airship thing.

Both events require an ORGANISED zerg. Not everything is mindless zerg content.

I think scarlets motives are vaguely noble. We have no idea what they are exactly.

With the new update to dungeon rewards coming, we felt the need to start something new.

Good Old Dungeoneering is all about what we call “dungeon tours”
because of the new reward system, we found the best way to keep “farming” dungeons is to to a bunch of paths each day.

So the tour system will allow us to do just that.

Each Tour will consist of 3-5 dungeon paths.
because of the way the rewards will work, the paths will reward a guaranteed 1~3 gold depending on the path.

(what paths for each tour will be compiled as soon as we have data on what dungeons reward what)

we figured if we could rally a bunch of people, we could make it easier to fourm groups without the need of LFG. You could also be assured you were in a group of people that knew what they are doing.

we will take anyone with at least one level 80.
dont care if you suck at dungeons or if you are pro, cause we all learn at some point.

all new recruits will start in the “beginner” rank. what we will do is run through a dungeon or two to see if you are good at the selected path, or if you are capable of learning.

The ranks are only devided by what class you play. so no members will be considered above others. (obviously we have beginners, officers and leaders)

lightning flash is great. i use it to get in and out of sticky situation in WvW and PvE.

my primary use for it though is initation with churning earth. i can crit around 9k – 10k with churning earth. you charge up CE, then use lightning flash to get into position right before i goes off.
