why yet there’s still complaints about mesmer needing to be nerfed even more. Have people just forgotten how hard they got hammered last patch out of all the classes?

Why annihilate the Mesmer class? Honestly I understand this was targeted at the chronomancer bunker but still you completely destroyed the class as whole. Now were virtually useless.

Why wasnt Druid touched?

So from the looks of it and various posts I’ve read, seems like not only has Anet nerfed the entire Mesmer class but also considering the nerfs to alacrity/quickness has made the chronomancer trait line utterly useless….

I witnessed very good mesmers out there; i won’t deny mesmers got hit hard with the patch, but i’m confident there’s still a path for both eles and mesmers to get a spot in the next meta.

I’m sure there is as well, I just think Anet really needs to get there ideas of “balance” together. You can’t destroy a class then give another one a ridiculous amount of buffs as mentioned in an earlier comment.

However I will say that even though I don’t play a warrior or thief, i think they were well in need of buffs the most out of any class.

Mesmers got hit as a class overall the hardest out of all the classes to be honest.

I think many eles would like to say hi. I’m not complaining though, i’m having more fun.

I play ele too! not my main but my second most played after mesmer. So I am aware of the nerfs to the class as well, my main point though is that Mesmers got hit the hardest as a class overall with this patch.

There were plenty of counters to the chrono bunker – I as a mesmer and other classes that ive played have found no issue going against one, you just adjust or learn how to play. A lot of the other bunker builds were considered OP as well which initiated the removal of some of the runes and amulets. I just think they nerfed the mesmer class a little too hard considering a few of the other classes like druid and scrapper for example were just as OP. Better adjustments could have been made.

Chrono bunkers were OP, it was no denying it. Now this comes as a subjective opinion, but figthing a good chronobunker was a living nightmare with evade/immunity frames, either portal or well elite, with quickness res. I get it that it sucks losing out on the class being nerfed, but at least that playstyle and dominion was just not healthy for the game.

Im not saying that chrono bunkers weren’t OP. They were just as much as the other bunker meta classes. I played a hybrid sustain power build different from the meta but obviously the new elites were a plus especially because of the added viability. If anything the main OP part was the outgoing alacrity. Mesmers have never had the best DPS either even after the HoT release. Nevertheless, if they’re going to hit a class that hard affecting not only those who played chrono bunker they might as well nerf the other “OP” classes just as much.

Clearly this patch was targeted to kill the Mesmer chrono bunkers but overall Anet nuked the class to the ground while the other classes seemed remotely untouched. How is that a “balance” among all the classes? Really Anet? Not that I played the meta bunker build but still there could have been better changes done, rather than just focusing on attacking one class completely.

Edit: I’m not saying chrono bunker wasn’t OP! As a person who’s played Mesmer as my main the past 2 years I’m just irritated that they basically nuked the entire class. I played a sustain/power shatter hybrid build.

Pips loss due to DCs/those tanking MMR

So I’ve been having a few ranked matches where I’ll have 1 to 2 dc’s throughout the entire match resulting in an obvious loss and loss of pips. I’m in ruby division so honestly this is starting to tick me off as you can lose tiers as well. This past match I had of course 2 dc’s with one of them obviously tanking MMR for they only came back at the very end of the match just to sit and be a jerk in a chat about it. Lost 2 pips for absolutely reason other then for the fact that I got paired with that kind of trash. Anet needs to at least do something about the pip loss towards those who are actually participating because it’s getting ridiculous

Just got the same mail, scared me at first but figured something was off reported since I know I haven’t purchased anything lately and have only been using one computer. I suggest if you get the mail report it first then send a ticket to Anet. Also in my mail I noticed that along with the suspicious link (which I did not go to) the persons name did NOT have an Anet tag next to it and at the bottom it stated “Note: this was sent from another player”

Well on top of playing while it was bugged and not receiving a good amount of rewards, i’ve disconnected about 5 or more times now with the error saying “client lost connection to server etc.” and as a result lost all my stacks that would’ve resulted in an additional amount of rewards I should’ve received. I’m sure i’m not the only who this has happened too, will there be compensation for that as well?

My thing is I just really want the 4 skins and the potions (which i’m sure majority are aiming for as well) but at this rate, honestly how are you supposed to get to like 1800 blooms in 4 days… c’mon Anet -__-

You’d think they’d at least add some type of achievements to which you get extra blooms from as well.

Due to the fact that the event had been bugged for nearly the entire day, I think it would be reasonable for Anet to extend it to an even further date given the fact that the drop rate for the blooms is still ridiculously low considering what the cost for the rewards are. On top of that, the events take such a long time to spawn so it only makes sense to make it last longer. What do you guys think?
