i’ve seen them flicker into existance briefly both in front of my toon and on the mini map. My guildmates called me crazy. Well I’ll show them how crazy a bucket dances!
EnemyCrusher, ever take into consideration those that have work and a family and can’t just spend ridiculous hours playing a game?
This type of argument always bugs me. I have work, and family, and responsibilities to both. This means I choose what is important in life and let the rest slide. It means I set my ‘game’ goals and feel good about what I can accomplish, but otherwise just enjoy the experience of ‘gaming’ in my off time.
The joy is in the doing, something I want to impart to my kid.
that’s an argument that really bugs me, too. What I read from it is “I have so many wonderful things happening in my life, and can only devote so much time to each of them, so I’m angry.”
I think those that are in this mindset need to try for a more objective viewpoint, they’re drowning in their own conceit.
if you do as he says quickly enough, you get your weapons back and can defend yourself from the mobs, that’s the point of it. I’m pretty sure that’s all there is to it, nothing to do with the mob spawns or anything else.
I spilled triple digits to get a skin. Pissed is an understatement.
Haha, what? How does that even happen? Were you drunk? You should know not to do any online shopping on your credit card while drunk, and if you haven’t learned that lesson until now, well then, now you have. Happens to nearly everyone once, at least you wound up with a GW2 skin rather than 10 pairs of shoes.

On the off chance that Anet is keeping some sort of statistical tally on the ratio of pro/anti clocktower opinions, I’ll register mine:
It’s great, don’t change it.
It’s tough, sure. I’m not great at platforming with a kb/mouse, and I had to give up on it several times, taking my frustrations out on candy corn elementals. Eventually I got it, and as a reward for my perserverance, I got some ugly boots and an achievement. I don’t see the big deal, you dont need to get it done to continue enjoying your life or this game.
Just checked my own spvp gear out, and turns out that is why I was showing 7/6 too.
“pvp runes of [blank]” probably should be made to not stack, or not appear to stack, with their pve counterparts.
