Looking for more active & friendly people to join our community! Whether you are experienced or new, and whether you love fractals/dungeons, raiding, pvp, or just want to chat about lore and characters, we welcome you.

Still looking for more interested in raid training/practice, particularly on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

Also we’re hoping to put together some fractal progression runs Tuesdays @ 8pm EST, starting at T1 and eventually higher tiers as well. We welcome anyone that’s interested in fractals (and dungeons too)!

Have you been looking for a guild where you’re not just another nameless face amongst hundreds? Well you’ve come to the right place. Close To The [EDGE] is a small, casual PvX guild trying to form our own community within this crazy world we call Tyria. We have a variety of players, from those who have been playing since launch, to those who just picked up the game, and if you fall anywhere between, we’d love to have you!

We have PvPers, Raiders, fractal and dungeon lovers, people interested in lore and crafting legendaries (and Canach lovers). If you’re just looking for a place to chill and find like-minded players, give us a try! As you can see, we do a little bit of everything.

Overall, we’re a very relaxed and accepting guild with little in terms of requirements. We ask that you have a good attitude and act in a (mostly) mature fashion and respect other members. We love joking around and doing silly things, too, though! We use Discord for chatting outside of the game and have a website with forums, events schedules, and other info.

Most activity takes place in the evening EST timezone, and all day on weekends.

Our schedule:

• Guild Missions – Monday @ 8pm EST
• Fractal Progression – Tuesday @ 8pm EST
• Raid Training Runs – Saturday @ 8pm EST

Our raid training runs are casual, not looking for perfect gear and experience is not necessary. All we ask is patience and respect for your squadmates and raid trainers! We want everyone to learn and improve themselves, so definitely feel free to ask us for advice too.

We also run a more static team Thursdays and Sundays @ 8pm EST and sometimes random runs throughout the week, you’re definitely welcome to join and fill-in if needed.

The Guild Hall is slowly expanding, with the arena coming soon hopefully!
Along with Raid Training on weekends, we also have Guild Missions on Mondays and Guild FUN Fridays @ 8pm where we do all kinds of activities, for example this week we did naked dungeons!

Raid training was fun last week! We had a lot of interest and decided to add Saturdays @ 7pm EST to our training schedule. We’re still accepting players of all experience levels of course and we’d love for you to join us!

Hey guys! Guild Hall is claimed and the upgrade process is moving along nicely. We’re excited for the new raid wing coming out, and we’re looking for anyone that wants to learn raiding or those with experience willing to help us teach newcomers.

And of course we still welcome those interested in other content as well! Come grow with us.

This is dumb.
I have a level 26 in a designated level 25-35 zone and it’s completely unrewarding to do over half of the zone because the experience gained is so limited. Why am I forced to go to a level 1-15 zone just to be able to get to level 30?
It makes no sense that taking on higher level challenges within a zone specified for your level range gives you less reward than going to a lower level zone and destroying mobs.
