It took awhile to defeat her in the last gauntlet but it felt good to get that mini in the end! I beat her last gauntlet but tbh I don’t want to go through beating her again haha.

Why are you putting points in curses if you are going cleric/healing? Instead of dagger/dagger you can go dagger/focus for more healing and utility and remove points from curses completely and put them into spite for more power (You can get 7% of power as healing bonus in 2nd minor trait.)

EU - Desolation, on and off casual PVE/PVP

Hey, I am from Malta (EU) play in the Desolation world. I consider myself more of a casual player since I often stay off-line for long periods but so far always seem to come back!

Main character is necromancer called Yimir lvl 80 with several builds. Has 100% map completion so it is easy to get around with him. I have several other characters, ranger, guardian, elementalist and engineer however I do not use them so often and are all below 80.

I am mostly PVE though I also like to play PVP from time to time.

So yeah, I am basically looking for casual PVE/PVP guild in Desolation mostly just to make new friends and play together. I am not really picky and any guild will do as long everyone is friendly and up for anything!

Basically all of them look like a puff of smoke on the ground, I don’t see how more people aren’t bothered by the simplicity of the animations.

So I wanted to know what everybody else thinks about the necromancer’s staff skill and I am hoping that Arena net will also comment whether or not they have anything in mind in the future for staff.

First off I have to say I fell in love with the Scythe animation but I ended up quite disappointed when I saw that all the skills are traps/marks… Not only that but the trigger animations/effects are quite underwhelming. A staff should have big fancy spells! It is a two handed weapon after all. Necromancer is my favorite profession and I always loved staff, however since beta I always thought Arena net rushed the necromancer staff abilities and not much thought was put into them. They are like hybrid power/condition/support weapon which in the end is not quite ideal for many build choices. It’s like “jack of all trades, master of none” weapon.

Do you guys think abilities are a bit too bland? Would you want a rework of staff spells? And would Arena net consider it some time in the future?

It’s nice because it looks like they raise their ears to hear better during battle/danger. It is probably intended and makes it more lively.

Staff basic attacks sometimes miss/out of ranged when casting on volatile blossoms in twilight arbor even though I am very much in range with no obstacles in the way.
