They deployed the fix around 03:00 in the morning around my time,i DL the client normal and it all went fine, made a regular install and dl..I was in game and left,restarted my PC all works now.Took them a bit..

As most of us posted on other topics..it will not fix the problem,you will be able to dl it and after exiting you will have to dl it again from scratch.

I am having the same issue.I tryed the reset with Run ip config,UAC,run as admin..afther that i even reinstalled my Windows 7 64×.The only work around for now is the change from GW2Setup.exe to GW2.exe.It just stops when it is downlading the client and i dont even get till the screen to select where to install it,it freezes and it asks me to close down the window.

I hope you will fix this.
