+1 for Linux client. I’m not in love as much in distros as I am for the KDE desktop (running Kubuntu, probably ditching it in favor of Arch, not sure). And would love to run GW2 at a more decent speed than it can right now under Wine. Optimization here and there it’s all we ask.
Hello there, since Mac users are getting a native client, and as of now its performance is even better than on Windows on some rigs, it’s no doubt that you made a succesful port to OpenGL. Now, with all this progress, is there hope for a GNU/Linux client?
Playing the game with Wine is almost impossible due to performance issues unless you got a beast for a computer.
So please ArenaNet! Some love for us!
