Still having issues in the evening here in southern UK
Mahoosive lag spikes (of anything between 30 seconds to a minute)
Starts at around 20:00… usually gets better at around 23:00
Have tried the client on port 80 with the same result so I know it isn’t my ISP doing something dodgy
Can we get some kind of idea of when this might be fixed?

Have had this issue for the last couple of weeks now from the south of the UK.. only during prime time
Have changed my client port to 80… still same issue so I know full well that Zen (as they claim) are NOT throttling
Usually starts around 20:00 and goes on til anything from 21:30 to 23:00
Ping’s to other objects on the internet are fine (google DNS servers, BBC etc) with no packet loss
Diagnostics when run show packet loss close to aplayer IP’s
Other games work fine.. BF3 has no lag to any server around europe (BF3 would usually be the biggest sign of problems!)
So tempted to rage about this, but working in the telecomms business I know full well that the ISP’s will blame A-net… A-net will blame the ISP… NO ONE will take responsibility for any interconnects, collectors or dodgy routing

Nothing entirely new, but have been running this spec recently and its giving quite decent direct healing

2.7k every 7 seconds or so in big WvW fights isn’t to be ignored plus you can spam some damage in doing so (although not much sadly)

Don’t buy the ‘we are useless’ statement, we still offer a lot to a group with the right spec, it just means that we aren’t going to be the damage dealers that we we’re
Who knows.. perhaps this where the Dev’s want Mesmers to be.. a support class for ripping boons or curing conditions?
The changes do suck horribly.. the confusion nerf was FAR to harsh… no doubt based off the number of A D D sufferers who WvW and do not realize they have 5 stacks of it on them then cry relentlessly to anyone who will listen.
But yeah, even as a dyed in the wool Mesmer fan I do not enjoy playing it now as much as I use to and have started to have more fun with other professions
