Hey guys,
As most of you probably have noticed some fixes are on their way to GW2 concerning the Fractals of the Mist! They are long overdue and I for one cannot wait for them to be implemented.
I made a short video about the subject – hope you guys like it!

As you probably all know, new information has been released on the new upcomming GW2 event called wintersday. I took some time to create a short video about it.
I hope you find this useful!

Hey guys!
I made another video on the upcomming changes for Guild Wars 2.
This time, I used a new format which includes me, wow! :P
Please let me know what you think of this new format, and if you would watch more of it (if it was available)
Leave comments preferable in YouTube itself, but here on the forum is fine too.
Dont forget to subscribe, like and comment to help me gain more views!
Thanks Mate! Let me know what you think
Hey guys!
I am in the process of documenting most (interesting) content of Guild Wars 2. With this content I create video’s and provide them with some commentary. I am currently in the starting phase, and have recorded some simple things like how to get to vista’s and poi’s, I created several guides on how to farm gold, karma and xp and am working hard to get a complete set of guides for all the dungeons currently in the game.
I am hoping to expand these video tutorials soon, and to give me a boost in the back every view helps!
You can find me and all my Guild Wars 2 videos in the https://www.youtube.com/user/Guildwars2videoclips Guild wars 2 guides channel on YouTube
Please have a look at my channel, and if you like it every subscriber, like, share or comment is much appreciated!
Thanks and enjoy the videos!

What worked for me was removing the Local file. It went up to 42 mb where it is back to 1.5 mb now
Here’s how: http://guildwars2.technopsisblog.com/pve/guild-wars-2-how-to-reduce-loading-time/
Defrag.
As you probably know modern versions of Windows do this automatically very often, so yes – my HDD is defragmentated.
Have you 2 tried runing GW2 of a SSD instead of a standard HDD ? Load times should easyily be cut in half. Atleats it was for me.
Naturally, when running anything on a faster medium, it will be faster. The problem however is that it WAS fast, and now it suddenly is not.
Try deleting the Local.Dat file wich stores your graphics settings etc.Video settings do get revered back to original settings so you have to change that back to your likings again, same goes for audio. It doesnt touch your keyboard bindings so theyre safe.I actually had the same a while ago when my loading became longer for no apparant reason and i saw the size of the file was about 43mb,since i deleted it its been about 23mb and my loading is normal again.
Located in C:\Users\Username\Documents\Guild Wars 2
This seemed like a viable option and indeed my local.bat file was 40MB so I deleted it. Now its much smaller, but helas, my loading times are still minutes instead of seconds.
EDIT: it seems like only the first load was long again. When I now switch areas it is back to the previous ‘second of loading time’ state! Thanks!

I have pretty much the same issue. My game always loaded in a decent ammount of time, but after the halloween patch my loading times went up to minutes. In addition, loading screens tend to hang quite often now (where i never had this before) and i need to alt+f4 out of them. Also, screens like inventory and pop-up screens that tell you you moved to an overflow server take very long to load.
These issues began after the halloween patch, but this was around the same time AMD released its 12.10 vision drivers. Maybe it has a connection?
