Well, after spending over 2 1/2 hours of hell in this event and getting nowhere, especially the last room, I have to wonder what is the purpose of events like this.
Games are supposed to be fun, and thats the last word I would describe this event.

Exactly my thoughts. The mission is a masochists dream. The whole thing is just extremely poorly designed, fun factor went into the negative digits on this mission. I’m not a masochist kitten .

This would help alt-a-holic’s like me a lot! I have the crafting professions spread out across my characters and now I need to log them in one by one to see their crafting proffessions. Kind of a pain if you quickly want to craft something.

I just enjoy a battle with the “right” pacing. A lot of action and then a phase with time to retreat, sit down for a moment or two, enjoy the scenery and plan my next move. Not possible with the current respawn-rate/mechanic.

I’d like this as well please! At least when the site does log me out and I have a Tab open in my browser with a specific thread, redirect me to that thread after logging back in again. I often have several threads open in my browser wich I want to take a look at later, logging back in takes me to the main forum page and pressing the back button on my browser takes me to the login page in stead of the thread I was watching.

Thank you for clearing that up! I hope the preview functionality will be as it was again soon. Now that we are on the matter of clearing up, there is this other huge thread on the forums that could use a reply and put a lot of people’s minds at ease And I’m not trying to be hateful or sarcastic about it

Pardon me, but what is the meaning of DR?

DR= Diminishing Returns
Farm a single mob/area/event too long and get less loot. (Or at least that’s how it’s supposed to work)

Same here, endless loadingscreen of death I don’t even have to change maps often.
I’m in a map then get thrown out to character select and can’t rejoin that map. Closing client and restarting doesn’t work, the map will still be bugged. It happens to everyone on the map at the same time though, as witnessed in our alliance TeamSpeak.

Some more info (it’s happening to me right now):
When logging in again with the same character the loading screen for the map will say: “Unknown Borderlands” Also sometimes when changing maps an error will pop up saying something like: can’t access Borderlands when wvw matches are being updated.

I was in a small team taking out a keep during late night hours, we take the walls down, take the door down, then kill the keep lord. Upon getting in and standing in the circle, as soon as the bar fills I see two people level up flash and I look up to see no reward. I shrug it off thinking that its nothing major just a small bug and continue to take an enemy tower, knock down the door, kill tower lord, as soon as its captured, nothing again.

I know I did all the required stuff to even count towards claiming the keep and tower by damaging the door, killing npcs, and even standing inside the circle.

I have been running a 38-39 Guardian at the time of these raids using staff, scepter, and focus.

Has anyone else been having these problems?

This is occuring for me as well, very annoying since I WvW a lot and it actually happens quite frequently. It happens on supply camps, keeps, towers and garrison. Last night I had it happen on capturing Stonemist I do all things required, attack NPC’s/ doors/Keep Lord/stand in the circle etc. and it just doesn’t give me anything, no bronze/silver/gold medal. Never had this before and it seems to have started about a week or so ago.

Couple this with me being in the same boat as a lot of others in not getting the WvW bonusses and you (ArenaNet) can hopefully understand how very frustrating this is!

Are you going to be streaming it live? Would be cool to see!

We have a team looking into disconnection problems that prevented some people from receiving their event rewards.

We will implement a solution so that people who participated will get their rewards, but this takes work on our end, so it will not happen today.

Ah so that’s what causing my targets to drop/change! Here i was thinking it was either me or a bug :O This has been the source of a lot of confusion/aggrevation for me.
A fix would be most most welcome!

I’m in the same boat, the WvW bonus has never worked for me on any of my characters. I’ve never switched servers and I’ve been on the same one all the time. Filed a bug report in game a while ago as well.
At the moment I’m feeling a bit left out not having the WvW bonus when I’m actually working hard to get it (I WvW a lot of hours each day)

ArenaNet, can we (pretty) please get at least a response that you guys are trying to fix it?

I’ve searched but couldn’t find this issue mentioned anywhere.

Since a couple of days I’ve been getting empty lines in my chat window, they only have a timestamp and no player name, channelname (m/s/t etc.) and no text.

It appears to be happening every couple of minutes at random intervals. I’ve tried logging on and off, changing areas and changing my chat settings but it didn’t help.

It’s pretty annoying since it happens so frequently that normal chat is often scrolled up too fast to read.

Anyone else experiencing this?
